Amazing week due to the great sunny hot weather, such a shame about the shocking food!
Pros:

The staff were lovely, polite and helpful! The location was great, quiet and easy access to the beach! The entertainment was quite good, bar staff were excellent especially the young man with a pony tail, he was superb and treated my granddaughter with kindness and helped her when she got a minute splinter in her finger!!! Lovely staff throughout!

Cons:

The food! Absolutely shocking, everything was cheap and nasty, below par of Tesco value meals! In fact it’s the worst food I’ve ever had from anywhere! It’s such a shame as this is why you go in a hotel for decent food! There was not a lot of choice, the evening meals only had 3 choices of each of the 3 courses! One of which was a vegetarian. The lasagne we had which was apparently homemade did not have any bechamel sauce in! It was dry and tasteless! The breakfast was terrible, again nothing had any taste there was nothing that was of any quality! Even the butter portions and the sauce packages were no name cheap, nasty and terrible! Everything tasted awful, my Granddaughter couldn’t even eat her fried egg that looked and felt like plastic, in the words of a 7yr old, “It’s Disgusting!” If they got the food better I’m sure this hotel would be packed!

Give your staff a payrise - they are a credit to you
Pros:

After a huge let down with another
Property on booking.com - it took payment but apparently hadn’t been a hotel
For months. We discovered this on arriving at said non-existent hotel with elderly relatives! - we managed to get half of our party in the Royal Boston. Upon hearing the drama of the day the staff were absolutely exceptional. Sorting us all lovely rooms and just generally being lovely people. We have all said we will definitely stop again. The rooms were lovely, bar fantastic, great entertainment etc.

Cons:

Nothing

Slightly disappointed.
Pros:

The entertainment and staff were great

Cons:

Our rooms blind didn't fully close, there was an awful smell in our room like sewage and smoke. Could be down to the location of the room as stayed before and didn't have this smell to deal with.
The bathroom light kept losing brightness at certain points it was almost black in the bathroom.
There was also a power cut which was unfortunate.
