An excellent location for Orlando's attractions, as well as to conduct any business. The Point Hotel rating that was given on-line equals that which met my needs. A plus is the quietness that I experience which I needed also even though I was given a room near their pool area.

The Good:

I loved the smell of the lobby and the friendly service provided by every staff member I encountered. I highly appreciated that they had an EV charger that was not only free, but had a designated parking spot so it was more likely to be accessible and was close to the entrance. The smooth and quick function of the elevators was comforting (as someone who hates being in elevators, this is HUGE). Also, when I did need assistance with my washer/dryer that broke, maintenance was super quick to respond and didn't take long to fix the problem.

The Not So Good:

This property needs to do a much better job of fixing issues/updating/cleaning.

* There were marks on the doors as you walk down the hallway, and in the room I was in, and damage has been ill-repaired.
* In my room, there was dusk in the cracks where the carpet ended, and on places such as above the door to the toilet in the bathroom. The carpet was also visibly stained and dirty.
* The iron had burn marks on it.
* In the bathroom, the toilet seat didn't align with the bowl, and every time I'd use the toilet, I'd have to flush it at least twice for everything to go down.
* The body wash in the shower was empty, which then made me wonder if the shower was even cleaned if that wasn't checked. Thankfully I brought my own soap that I used for the duration of my stay.
* Some of the towels had someone else's hair embedded into the fibers.
* The chairs at the table were torn and ripped on the back.
* My bedsheets had some questionable spots on them, and when I pulled back the comforter, found it to be slashed open.
* When the control panel for the washer/dryer fell off in my hand, there was a mountain of dust behind it. That plus the amount of noise the washer made during use, leads me to believe it has never been serviced, or at the very least had the tub alignment checked.
* The TV's were so old, they had no streaming capabilities.

One or two of these things, and I'd conclude a general oversight. This many makes me think it's an effort to save a few bucks, which as a whole, lessens the overall guest experience. Had I spent more than I did, I would have been even more disappointed.

It was the people here, more than the property that saved the rating from being worse. As the service and location were the only two excellent things about it. While the price I paid for the amenities this place has was good, I didn't get the chance to use all of them, mostly due to my own time constraints.

Everything was great and easy.

Great location. Plenty of parking. Nice, clean apartment with everything we needed. The pool area was great and is in the sunshine from late morning until sunset. Communication is great. Not having to have a key is a great bonus. No issues at all.

I had the executive suite and it was cleaned, large, and quiet at night. The location is closed to a convenience store so that you can walk. The only issue was that the washer in my room did not work. Overall, nice place to stay.

I happened upon The Point in early May, and I was so impressed with staff members Shianne, Yashika and Luis! Then, when I got to the room and had the opportunity to look around the property - WOW!!! - I have got to give immense kudos to the property. This is one of the finest properties I've had the opportunity to stay at. And as I stated, STAFF WAS TERRIFIC!!! Management at The Point - these members of staff are keepers! Now, on the other hand, Vacation Offer (VO), needs to go.

My stay was in a small room for two. The room was clean and quite. The bed was comfortable. A kitchenette consisting of a microwave, Mini fridge, kettle and a coffee maker with dishes is in the room. Counter space was very limited. The bathroom is well stocked.

Location great from Universal. Beds terribly hard, still have sore shoulders. Bathroom plumbing terrible and needs updating. Also, does not have hard line phones in room, which is needed for emergencies.
