Exactly what we needed. Air-conditioning on the hottest day of the year and a very comfortable bed.
Pros:

The room was really lovely. Bed extremely comfortable.

Cons:

There was a family with a young baby in the room next to me, and it was like I was in the room with them. Made me question the soundproofing.

Pros:

Art deco style is truly alive here. Unique area as never been here prior but stayed at other Hoxton's in London. Bartender (Portuguese or Spanish) was incredible kind and recommend a great red. Hotel staff were kind and polite.

Cons:

No A/C. I know it's not the hotel receptionist fault but it's 2026 and all rooms should have AC or allocated a room with A/C. A Dyson-type fan was provided but was absolutely useful. Some rooms have AC and some didn't but the hottest day of the year - absolutely awful. Sweaterling heat all night and lorry's honking the next morning meant I just had to leave so early. One of the lifts wasn't working and took forever to arrive.

En revanche, ce n'est pas possible en 2026 de ne pas avoir de smart TV dans une chambre. On a meme pas pu mettre netflix aux enfants. Pas normal

Het was een luxe kamer waarin wij vieren heerlijk geslapen hebben. De ruime kamer met het heerlijk bed en douche waren h

De prachtige sfeer die er hing! van buiten en binnen is alles even orachtig!

Cons:

Ontbijt namen wij niet ivm de hoge prijs.
Als het 10,- lager was hadden wij het wel gedaan.

A very nice hotel, well located

The style was great as well as the location

Cons:

Our room didn’t have AC and it was truly like an oven when we got inside. But talk to the receptionist who said that some rooms have a/c other don’t and if we wanted a room with AC we had to pay more which I found unfair. Had we known that our room wouldn’t have AC we would not have book that hotel as the temperature was above 30. She tried to help though looking for other room but there were none available in the category we booked. She asked her manager who gave us an other room with AC. We truly appreciated the help and the free upgrade.

Stylish hotel with some positives, but ultimately a disappointing stay that fell below the usual Hoxton standard.
Pros:

Overall, the property was pleasant, though unfortunately it did not quite meet the usual Hoxton standard. The location is convenient, with easy metro access into the city centre, and the communal spaces are stylish and well presented.

Cons:

The hotel had more of a “hostel” feel than expected, especially with large coach groups checking in. The layout also made moving luggage difficult, with several steps and ledges across the floors. Some areas looked tired, as the dark paintwork showed marks and wear quite noticeably.

Our room was disappointing. It was dusty, the floor had not been hoovered properly, the bathroom bin was rusty, and the room was unbearably warm despite using the fan. Opening the window helped slightly, but roadworks outside disturbed our sleep. We also found it frustrating that we could not cast to the TV, and the suggestion to simply “watch local TV” was not especially helpful.

The staff were mostly pleasant, though service felt a little brusque at times. Overall, it was an acceptable stay, but not one that matched our expectations of The Hoxton.

Nice stay but felt the hotel was a little overwhelmed by guests on a work trip
Pros:

Great decor and interesting location, great for family with kids

Cons:

Our room hadn’t been cleaned properly on arrival (stain on table, sticky stuff on side of sink and toilet bin not emptied), we arrived late so mentioned it the following morning and asked for the room to be serviced but while the staff was sympathetic and assured me there would be cleaning service that day our room still hadn’t been serviced at 7:30pm and I had to ask another staff member who rectified the cleaning issue the following evening.
We also didn’t have the breakfast as it felt overpriced for what it was.

Spectacular stay and location - Private and just enough space for our family of four with adult kids
Pros:

It felt inviting, safe and comfortable; loved the decor. So easy to get around the city via nearby 1 and 26 trams. Very quiet neighborhood, just moments from city center. Water, tea and coffee in the room; groceries available across the street and wonderful river view. The absolute best rain shower (with handheld as well)!!! Fabulous water pressure and temperature.

Cons:

Breakfast should be included for the price.

Ten volle genieten van luxe
Pros:

We zijn hier nu voor de tweede keer geweest, het personeel is heel aardig. We kregen een upgrade omdat het mogelijk was wegens een special occasion, met een wijntje en een lief kaartje als verassing. Echt geweldig, het interieur van het Hoxton is zo prachtig. We gaan zeker weer terugkomen in de toekomst!

Leuk goed gelegen hotel, maar kleine dubbele bedden in bepaalde kamers
Pros:

De ligging, het kader en mooi interieur, goede functionele badkamer

Cons:

Te smalle bedden en heel kleine kamer, moesten de deur naar badkamer openlaten voor “zuurstof” maar daar waren geen verdonkeringsgordijnen
