Exceeded our expectations. Amazing location, clean and well maintained. Restaurant food not great.
Pros:

Wonderful and accommodating staff. The view of Mt Agung is spectacular. The hotel felt brand new. Very clean and well maintained. Beautiful gardens and pool. We are already planning our next trip up from the coast, it was that good.

Cons:

The restaurant food was very ordinary, I hate to say. Doesn't match the amazing hotel. Nasi goreng was tasteless when it should be outstanding. The desert was the highlight, but mains dishes were not great. Doesn't take much effort to make amazing Indonesian food, but the cooks here don't seem particularly interested. Much improvement needs to be made in the restaurant and, judging by comments from others here and on google reviews, not much is being done to change this. Marketing has gone to great lengths to promote the restauarant as something really special, but the reality is quite the opposite.

An exceptional and unforgettable stay with warm hospitality, delicious local food, great facilities, authentic cultural
Pros:

We found Tapa Agung View to be a truly exceptional place to stay. One of the things we appreciated most was being able to enjoy meals right at the accommodation. The restaurant was always open, the breakfast was very generous, and we had the chance to try a wide variety of delicious local Indonesian dishes.

Dinner was especially enjoyable, as there was always some kind of cultural performance, which added a wonderful and authentic touch to our experience. We also loved having a swimming pool and Balinese massage services available on-site, both of which could be booked almost immediately.

The staff were extremely flexible, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. They always did their best to accommodate our needs: they provided us with yoga mats and even arranged a late breakfast for us one day when we returned from a tour after the usual breakfast hours. They also helped us organize our transfer.

Overall, the warm hospitality, flexibility, excellent food, cultural experiences, and great facilities made our stay truly memorable. And last but not least, the view was absolutely breathtaking, with the majestic Mount Agung always right in front of us.

Magistraal mooi uitzicht op de vulkaan!
Pros:

De ligging is fenomenaal. De kamers hebben frontaal uitzicht op de vulkaan. De infinity pool is zeer prettig, lekker verfrissend, maar niet te koud en heerlijk om baantjes te trekken. De kamers zijn clean; zowel schoon alsook een beetje kaal qua aankleding. Dat kan sfeervoller. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is in buffetvorm en prima. Niet heel bijzonder. Wat ook prachtig ligt, is het restaurant en de zitjes met vulcano-view. Echt zo gaaf om wakker te worden en de zon op te zien komen vanachter de vulkaan met een ontbijtje op die plek. Magisch mooi. Ook een bezoekje aan de belangrijkste tempel van Azië mag niet ontbreken. Tegelijkertijd is het zonde om op pad te gaan, want genieten in het hotel is heerlijk.

Cons:

De ligging is zowel fantastisch als geïsoleerd. Er komt geen of nauwelijks een Grab en je zult veelal vervoer via het hotel moeten regelen. Je bent dus min of meer afhankelijk van het hotel voor het diner als je het eenvoudig wilt houden/als je niet lang in de taxi wilt zitten. En daar ging het bij ons mis. Op de Balinese avond met buffet, bestelden wij voor 2 het buffet en voor 2 à la carte en die logistiek kunnen ze niet goed handelen met de bestaande personeelsbezetting. Ons 1ste diner was daarmee ook een fiasco. Na de nodige stevige gesprekken, hebben we dit diner niet hoeven te betalen. Daarna was het personeel wel extra bezorgd om ons welzijn, zeg maar. De manier waarop het uiteindelijk is opgelost is okay.

La piscine avec vue sur l Agung. Le service et le petit dejeuner copieux. L 'emplacement est ideale pour les visites aux alentours.

Séjour mémorable , tout était parfait , nous reviendrons
Pros:

La vue du Mont Agung est grandiose ainsi que le paysage autour . La piscine est super bien placée , vous offrant une vue magnifique . C’est magnifique . Le personnel est adorable et au petit soin pour vous . Petit déjeuner très sympa .
Proche du plus grand temple Besakih et de magnifiques cascades .
J’ai pris un massage et c’était très bien

Cons:

Piscine un peu froide mais c’est normal , vous êtes en hauteur 😉

There is no restaurant nearby so be prepared to eat in the one in the hotel (everyone can find something). Pool temperature a bit low.

Excellent choice
Pros:

Quiet location, great staff, amazing view, convenient restaurant.
A special thanks to Komang: skilled driver and very good guide for tourists. I strongly recommend to go for half day tour with Komang!

Good slide place
Pros:

Rooms decent size, garden / Mountain View was lovely. Rooms were clean.
On site massage was very good.
Cooking class was fun, chef was really supportive to the kids. Downside was not making satay sauce from scratch.

Cons:

Location means you are eating there. They had “extensive” meal options but as so often when try and do it all the quality is not as good as if you specialise. Found the overall good just okay - across lunch, dinner, and breakfast.
Found for breakfast - buffet - stands weee not being topped up and food was just warm.
Staff were very friendly but found often slow at responding and difficult to get their eye to get service.
Struggled on getting consistent hot water coming through. Had sign to wait 3 mins - took longer and then was too hot. Struggled to then get right warmth. Suggests need to set and mid and leave it to come through - but feels like you are wasting a lot of water.

Mooie plek maar er zijn verbeterpunten

Mooie rustige plek met zicht op de berg als het niet bewolkt is. Helaas hadden wij veel regen en hebben we de berg niet gezien.

Cons:

Kamers met balkon en zicht op de berg zijn goed. Onze kinderen hadden kamers zonder uitzicht en die kamers waren beduidend minder.
Wat met name mijn lager score bepaalt is dat mijn kinderen heel vroeg gewekt werden door schoonmaakpersoneel. Voor 7u in de ochtend waren ze aan het vegen en hard door hun telefoons aan het praten. Dit hield lang aan. Je kunt er toch vanuit gaan dat mensen op vakantie zijn en slapen. Dit doet geen recht aan de rustige accommodatie.

Bel hôtel parfait pour visiter le palais et les rizières de Sidemen
Pros:

Très bel hôtel avec une vue magnifique et un personnel aux petits soins.
Nous avions des fourmis dans la salle de bain à notre arrivée et tout de suite ils ont envoyés quelqu’un. Par contre aucun resto autour, obligé de manger à l’hôtel. Malheureusement nous avons eu de la pluie et donc très froid pour manger au resto les 2 soirs de suite (mais ce n’est pas leur faute). En tout cas prévoir un pull.

Cons:

La déco des chambres est très simples. C’est vraiment pour trouver un point critique.
