Location is the only plus.
Pros:

The location alone would be the best (and probably the only reason) to book a room with iH Hotels Ambasciatori!
Daily breakfast spread was great, warm and cold offerings. Repetitive on the warm options, but still quite varied for the rest.

Cons:

The room was big enough for 4 adults yet the hotel insisted that it only fits 3.
Our room was hot. There's air-conditioning but only makes 1/3 of the room cool, the rest is hot. We raised the issue with the reception but no action was taken. Beds were ok, but given the room temp, it was hard to sleep.

Nos dieron una habitación más grande, el desayuno muy bueno. La habitación muy bien de espacio y funcionalidades. La tina muy bien. El baño bien de espacio

La ducha funcionaba pero el agua salia por todos lados, la cama al ser de madera crujia mucho y el seguro de la puerta del baño no funcionaba y no podia cerrarse con llave. Falta mantenimiento

Unprofessional staff. The bed reservation system and the rooftop bar reservation system do not work.
Pros:

I selected the hotel for its close proximity to La Scala Opera and its rooftop bar. The location was excellent. The rooftop bar was stunning, although there were some notable shortcomings, which I will address later. The breakfast lived up to expectations. The room was spacious, featuring a large, attractive bathroom, and the hotel premises were well-maintained and clean.

Cons:

Failure to provide the requested bed type and the inadequate response of the staff to the situation. In my reservation, I had selected a room with two separate beds. I received a room with a single bed, which is not suitable for my 85-year-old mother. I did not request a room change, but I did need a second blanket, which was not available in the room. This is inadequate and unusual for a hotel of this category.
The receptionist showed no interest when I presented written proof in my reservation specifying that the room should have two separate beds. This was shocking. The staff’s approach to the situation was unprofessional. The request for a second blanket was eventually fulfilled, but shockingly, the staff brought an unmade blanket with the cover separate. I had to put the cover on myself, which was completely unprofessional.
A similar experience occurred at the rooftop bar. The online reservation system did not work properly. I received a confirmation of receipt for my booking request, but this was the end of the process and no final confirmation followed. I had to contact the hotel directly, and they made and confirmed the reservation. However, the bar staff were neither polite nor professional. They initially tried to seat us on high bar stools, which was not appropriate for my 85-year-old mother. Although we were eventually seated at a regular table, the handling of the situation was neither pleasant nor professional. During the evening, the staff paid little attention to guests, and orders took a long time.
Other minor issues included:
Air conditioning that was too noisy even at its lowest setting, requiring it to be turned off overnight for sleep.
Sinks operated with an archaic dual-handle system, impractical for an elderly person.
Insufficient capacity and long wait times for the single elevator shared with non-hotel guests of the rooftop bar.
An online menu that differed from what was actually available on-site, with unprofessional handling of discrepancy

A great location for your central Milan hotel.
Pros:

This is a great property located near the historical central district of Milan. It's an I.H. hotel with 24 hour front desk staff and they can hold your luggage after you check out, so you can do one more tour. The staff is very helpful, great food is nearby, the hotel offers a full breakfast to start the day, the rooms are cozy, and the beds are comfortable.
