1910 Boutique - Central, Scenic, Self Check-In

a few things. first and foremost this was advertised as a 4 star hotel in booking.com. this is completely inaccurate. the correct classification would be rooms for rent. second, the bed was too soft, the curtains allowed a lot of sunlight to come into the room in the morning which woke me up both mornings. there was some noise in the evening from people passing outside the room as well as outside, that interfered with my sleep. the place to hang the towels was inside the shower which was very badly designed. there was no fridge or coffee maker or kettle or tea or coffee in the room. there were some in the common kitchenette outside but you had no idea what is the tea you would be drinking as there were no labels.

We had the attic room for three people and the main bed is in the loft space up a step ladder. This would not suit anyone with mobility issues. It’s rather cramped and hot in the bed space. The rest of the apartment was cooled by the air con.

Ar fi trebuit sa specifice ca accesul in spatiul de dormit din atic are o scara f greu de urcat. Eu am proteza de sold si mi-a fost extrem de greu sa urc. Desigur mai sent si alte persoane cu dizabilitati si trebuie informate. Alt lucru care nu mi-a placut, sunt usile de lemn de la etajul 1 si doi. Nu ar fi mare lucru sa fie vopsite si geamurile sa fie spalate. Dau un aspect f neingrijit si in discordanta cu camerele ingrijite. Alta sugestie ar fi sa gasim in camera macar un croissant pt cafeaua de dimineata- nu costa mai mult de 2 lei, asa am fi scutiti sa cautam prin cartier cate ceva pt cafea. Am stat si in Roma si in San Francisco la hoteluri si mereu lasau ceva pt a nu bea cafeaua pe stomacul gol. Doar o idee.

The negatives: if you are not in shape, are older, or have large and heavy luggage, you should not get this room. You climb 2 floors to get to the apartments and then to get to the attic you have to climb a very narrow and steep stairway. Navigating carry-ons was challenging. Once you are in the apartment, the stair to the loft (where the bed is) is a slick, wooden, very steep stair. I slipped a couple of times. The loft is very hot and the air is stagnant. The AC does not cool it off. In the summer, it was uncomfortable. A fan pushing air in would easily solve this problem. The shower is very slick, especially when wet. It needs some shower stickers to reduce the slipping danger. There is supposed to be a breakfast but we were not informed of it, nor did we see it. Also, the room was not serviced during the 5 days we were there. This feels more like an AirBnB than a hotel.

Main bathroom light was not working
, although seconds bathroom light was adequate. Very limited soap in soap dispenser in bathroom and only a small toilet roll provided - expected maybe at least two

Δεν μας άρεσε που ήταν δύσκολη η πρόσβαση στο δωμάτιο, με πολλές σκάλες και μια απότομη σκάλα που οδηγούσε στο κρεβάτι. Επίσης το κρεβάτι ήταν ψηλά, πάνω από την θέση του ερκοντισιον, με αποτέλεσμα όλος ο ψυχρός αέρας να μένει στο κάτω μέρος του χώρου και επάνω, εκεί που ήταν το κρεβάτι να έχει πολλή ζέστη.
