Golders Green Serviced Apartments by Concept Apartments

Sadly, two of us (we were three) had to sleep directly on the floor.
So we basically paid nearly £400 to spend two nights on the floor, no carpet.
Downstair is a basement with no window and the vent didn't work. The vent wasn't working in the WC either.
During a heatwave, the heat in the apartment was absolutely unbearable and gave us migraines and nausea - it was sickening. The apartment needs air conditioning. It was totally impossible to sleep downstairs with no window or ventilation of any kind.
On top of that, the bed downstairs was broken or had a fault, as the moment you sat on it, it fell - it gave my elderly mother quite a big scare, and thank goodness she didn't get hurt.
The noise from the outside on a weekend is intense as well - lots of drunken people shouting so much that we couldn't sleep because of that either (this isn't the owner's fault, and it wouldn't be a bad thing overwall! London is a vibrant place, and we all appreciate that - but just mentioning it in case someone is looking for somewhere peaceful)
As I said, my parents had stayed here before, but sadly we won't be returning as sleeping on the floor was an awful experience. The double bed upstairs is a small double as well, very soft mattress.
The water temperature in the shower couldn't be regulated properly - it was either too hot or too cold.
Two of the windows that we could have opened were broken and didn't open.
The lack of air and ventilation was incredibly stressful.
Sorry to write this review, we really wanted to enjoy this place as we had good memories, but this was slightly traumatising.

The windows didn’t stay open in the heat. And the road was noisy but I didn’t mind.

Bed frame was very loud and made noise with even the softest movement.

The sound insulation is very poor, when people walk the hallway or stairs it sounds like they are walking in your room.

The room smelled of onions if the windows were closed.

Cleanliness was lacking. The floor wasn't clean. Bathroom sink had toothpaste in it. Sheets were stained. One of the decorative pillows had a white stain on it.

The bed was so incredibly loud and creaky that I woke me up every time I or my partner shifted.

I can’t fault anything with this property

Peu d'intimité si les volets restent ouverts
Beaucoup de bruit avec passage des voitures
Fortes chaleurs en cas de canicule

Les 3 logements de 16 m2 sont en façade, à hauteur de l'arrêt de bus, sur Finchley Rd : c'est très passant, et donc il y a du bruit tôt le matin et jusqu'à 21h. Ça ne nous a pas gêné car nous sommes habitués à vivre en ville, mais ça explique certains commentaires sur le bruit.

Everything was really great, but the bathroom is tiny, compared to the space you have in the other areas of the house. It has everything you need, it's new and clean, but if you are very tall or a bit heavier, you might not fit on the toilet...

The small things:
No lid for the small pan
The lock boxes with the room key should be better indicated with “Room keys here”

The bigger things:
The kitchen fan blew cold air INTO the room… Wind was from the south west that day… It needs a non-return baffle…
There is no water overflow in the bathroom sink: Sooner or later someone with let the sink overflow causing probably SIGNIFICANT water damage to the apartment’s floor and the apartment below.

WHAT’s IMPORTANT:
On my last day there was NO HOT WATER AT 9AM…
SEVERAL of the STOVE top’s digital indicators did not work. Using the two burners was a HIT and MISS affair and more than once I realised the burner was FULL ON long after I’d tried to turn it off.

Das Schlafsofa war nicht zum schlafen geeignet und das ein Doppelbett nur eine Bettdecke bekommt in manchen Unterkünfte kann ich nicht verstehen. Ich weiß, dass das viele machen aber wenn man nach einer zweiten Decke fragt, bekommt man auch meistens eine hier wurde das leider verneint.
