Great hotel, great location
Pros:

Location into town centre was excellent , the room was spotless and good supply of teas/coffees. Breakfast was lovely.

Lovely few days away
Pros:

Very good location for getting into Rye town. Only a short walk and you’re there. Hotel was nice. Got a hello from all the staff we met over the 2 days and nights.

Cons:

Hard pillow so wasn’t to my comfort

Functional for a one night stay
Pros:

Convenient for exploring Rye, Camber Sands and surrounding area. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good parking. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Noisy - it’s on a busier road than it looks and internally it is not well soundproofed. Bed was uncomfortable. Basic room. No water in room.

Great location to stay and to explore Rye and Cumber sands! Very reasonable price for such great location. Hotel breakfa
Pros:

Location is great! Rooms are spacious and the fact that they are very dog friendly made me booked for this hotel. It’s beautiful located on the river bank. Breakfast was surprisingly good and lots of hot food to choose from! Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

There’s no mini fridge in the room. But it was still ok as the hotel kept my dog’s food in their fridge in the kitchen.

Great location, great staff but in need of a refurb and general maintanence
Pros:

Great location, easy walk into Rye and Mermaid Street. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink.
Staff were excellent, hotel was very clean and nice cooked breakfast.

Cons:

It is in need of a refurb. Bathroom very basic with broken tap and toilet roll holder and we were in deluxe room. Shower over bath not very powerful. Whilst it’s clean, we thought these things would be quick to fix, and would not expect in an upgraded room.

Prima verblijf, een volgende keer weer
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Goed dat je ook wat later op de avond nog een drankje van de bar kon bestellen, tegen een voor UK-begrippen alleszins redelijke prijs. Ontbijt was prima verzorgd. Goede keuze van warme gerechten. Locatie is top, op zeer korte loopafstand van het schilderachtige centrum. Parkeren op eigen terrein, bij de kamerprijs inbegrepen. Het hotel ziet er van buiten wat verouderd uit, maar binnen is het keurig schoon en zijn ze het (niet zichtbaar voor de gasten) aan het renoveren. Onze kamer (3) was in ieder geval redelijk recent gemoderniseerd.

Cons:

Keuze wat betreft het continentaal gedeelte was enigszins beperkt, maar zeker voldoende, naast het warme gedeelte. Het bed was niet al te breed. De douche-straal was wat zacht.

Great location
Pros:

The room was a bit dated but otherwise very good, with a river view. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the town.

Cons:

The hotel is a little tired looking but otherwise very nice. I would stay there again.

Pros:

Breakfast good, location good

Cons:

Rooms need a good clean, had one cup in room not cleaned. Room needs updating.
But could not thought the bed etc very comfy & bedding good & clean
