Very friendly staff. Good Location, Good pub adjacent . Comfy Beds
The annex building appears to have been constructed with macerator waste pumps for toilet and sinks. This are clearly quite old an noisy now. The vibration of these could be heard right throughout the building. Anyone using the toilet late evening, through the night, in the morning sent reverberating sounds that would wake you up (even if a couple of rooms away).
The facilities are clean, but rooms starting to look a bit tired.
You get what you pay for......but the noise would put me off returning.
Convenient Location….was good for what we needed.
Friendly staff
Booked a room for a family of 4 but when we arrived room only had one bed, went to reception to inform them and was told yes but there is a sofa bed! …..although it hadn’t been set up ready for our arrival and was no bedding for it, staff did rectify the problem and tried to find what was needed and was sorted in around 20 minutes but also only had 2 towels between the 4 of us until the 2nd day and had to share the pillows from the main bed as told no extra pillows. Bed was very hard.
Breakfast was ok but not very organised
1st day Cereals but no milk and green/furry fruit in fruit bowl. 2nd day glasses
but no juice.
The staff were brilliant, engaging without over familiarity.
We didn't get room 7 which we were given before and was a nightmare for my wife. She was kept awake by the incessant on / off of a pump somewhere above our ceiling. Lovely place but needs modernisation of the heating and plumbing.
Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. Staff were friendly and helpful
Evening meal was to a high standard.

The accommodation was excellent clean and every one needs
Two chairs
The room was spacious, there was a fan (which was welcome in this current heatwave), an iron and ironing board in room. The bed was very comfortable too.
There was nothing to not like.
Nice comfortable room and good restaurant
Section of false eyelash in one of the towels
Very poor water pressure through taps and shower
WELL EQUIPPED ROOM WITH COMFORTABLE BED.
REASONABLY PRICED FOOD IN RESTAURANT.
AN ENJOYABLE STAY.
Mattress comfortable. IPA was good. Reception team pleasant and helpful.
Bedroom decor mediocre and fading. Breakfast overall disappointing. Tables in main eating area not well cleaned. Seating cushioning picked at and spilling out.
Good location - a nice setting near the river, and convenient for where I needed to be the day after my stay. Close to the main road, but wasn't affected by road noise. Staff were friendly, service was efficient and food was fine and good value.
There was some persistent noise in my room overnight from some sort of plumbing / pump. I didn't find it a huge issue but a light sleeper probably would have found it disturbing.
Room and grounds were a little run down. The room was clean but really needs redecorating / updating and a better wifi signal. The grounds were a little untidy. With a bit of refurbishment and maintenance, this could be a fantastic place but it's not meeting its potential at the moment.
Good access and clean facilities
Overall impression was a little worn out
Room Bathroom Breakfast and Food at Night too
As we didn't have a car we tried to walk up to Broughton Astley but the grass verge was too small and traffic was coming down so we turned around and came back to Mill and just chilled out. As we was there for a funeral on the Wednesday afternoon Which wasn't The Mills fault
Location was good.
Room was dirty with thick dirt on windows, radiators and floors.
Area outside window was covered in rubbish.
Water flow from shower was low and lukewarm warm.
Restaurant was short of staff with long wait to be served. Part of order was missed, other food was cold and only delivered after complaints.
Steak was very overcooked and not edible. Money was refunded after complaining but we didn’t eat there the 2nd night. Original booking said breakfast included but made to pay in the morning.
The location was good, easy to get to
The room was not clean. Bathroom smelled mouldy, there was mould in the bathroom. It was really dirty. The carpet wasn't clean and there was mould and dust everywhere in the room The wardrobe doors we unsafe and hard to open and close. Overall, really dissatisfied.
