J’ai passé plus de 10 jours dans cet hôtel et j’ai été très satisfait de mon séjour. Les chambres sont propres et bien entretenues, et le personnel est vraiment sympathique et accueillant. Il y a toujours quelqu’un à la réception, ce qui est très appréciable. L’emplacement est également idéal : les magasins, le centre et toutes les commodités sont à proximité. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir lors de mon prochain séjour !
Very clean
Great location, very close to 2 malls, shops, restaurants and metro. Staff was very helpful with anything you need.

I liked how the staff was very helpful! I loved the way they treated us and that they were always happy to help out with any need. Staff was cleaning up the room every day and they were adding more coffee, water, coffee cups every day. They even gave us an extra chair. Upon checking in they gave us a jacuzzi/hot tub room even tho we didn't book one... free of charge!!!

Genuinely one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Istanbul. We booked a standard economy room, but when we arrived the staff surprised us with a free upgrade to a deluxe room with a jacuzzi, purely as a gesture of goodwill. Small touch, but it says a lot about how they treat guests. Ended up being the highlight of the stay, nothing better than relaxing in the jacuzzi after a long day walking around the city.
The room itself was spotless, and the whole place stayed calm and quiet the entire stay, no street noise, no hallway chaos, just a peaceful place to actually rest. Staff were friendly and available around the clock, any question or request was handled fast, day or night.
Location is unbeatable: literally steps from the metro station, so getting anywhere in Istanbul was effortless. Between the warm hospitality, the cleanliness, the surprise jacuzzi upgrade, and the unbeatable location, Second Otel completely exceeded expectations. Already planning to book again on my next trip to Istanbul!

Bijna alles was negatief.
The hotel was at a pretty good location, close to a mall, train station and taxis.
There was a lot of eating and coffee possibility in the area, but also bazar experience.
I got a room with a broken airconditioning unit so I had to be moved to another room, where the toilet access was difficult, and I specially requested unblocked access because of my walking conditions.
The ambiental lights were flickering, so those were unusable.
The windows are of bad quality, especially in the matter of sound isolation, that was not a problem until the night shift of the hotel and two other guys from the neighboring hotels did not begin a whole night discussion (from 00:00 to 06:00) right under my window and I needed to buy ear plugs to be able to sleep.
There was very little to like about this hotel. Leaving the next morning was a relief.
The entire hotel was dirty and smelled strongly of cigarettes, including the room, hallways and lift.
We arrived around midnight after a late flight and were scolded for being late. The next morning, a receptionist named Mehmet shouted at us and at my husband when he asked to leave our luggage.
The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, so we had to keep the windows open all night. It had an uncomfortable bed, dirty and ripped bedding, a broken toilet seat and flush, full ashtrays, and an unsafe balcony. No bedding was provided for the extra bed, despite us paying for four people.
It was a deeply unpleasant experience, and we were relieved not to spend another night there.
