They tend to promote late checkouts which mean that if you arrive early you can wait a long time to check in... which is tricky when you land at 5am.

Worth for money
Pros:

Hotel services are very excellent. Staffs are friendly and helpful, especially a guy who speaks English well. I like their breakfast a lots as it offer good and healthier choices. They helped us a lot of booking attractions and food delivery as we don’t have a China phone number. Nice location as well.

Exceptional location with friendly staff and calming smell all over the place.
Pros:

Spacious rooms with one king bed and two twin beds which is perfect for a family of four to hang out together after each day sightseeing. Breakfast is definitely a plus. Staff is easy to work with and friendly in general. Also the onsite laundry mat makes me happy and worry-free on the hot summer days.

Cons:

Air conditioning can be improved in common areas for hot days.

The roof garden is beautiful. Very well put together Chris the guy on reception was excellent and a lovely person to deal with. The staff who cleaned the rooms were fantastic too. And one other guy- panda (nickname?) was a huge help and gave me great recommendations of where to cycle to etc. so the staff were great. Very clean - and the food I had for dinner - avocado and fruit salad was amazing. So healthy and clean. I was disappointed I could not order glass of wine to have with dinner - I would have had to have a bottle and although I had to rush to get into dining room before 8.30. - I asked if I could sit out in lobby to have it but they said no. The cleaning up was being done while I was there

Cons:

In the bedrooms there is no sound barrier at all from the other rooms. I saw ear buds beside my bed and thought it was due to noise from outside - but no- it was just general talk from the rooms on either side They were not shouting or anything- it was just paper thin walls I think. The restaurant served great food but it is definitely not at atmospheric or really attractive to sit in. Which is a shame as the garden and reception area are really beautiful
