Basic but comfortable and clean
Pros:

The hotel is within walking distance from both Montecatini Terme / Central station. It is also positioned on a side street off from the main road, which helps limit outdoor noise. The staff are friendly. The hotel is clean. The beds are comfortable.

Cons:

Externally the hotel is pretty and well kept. Internally, although clean, the hotel is a little dated and could do with updating and some modernisation. There is no gym / pool. Although, there is air-conditioning in rooms, it is noisy and therefore disturbs your sleep. Breakfast is a little overpriced. There are cafes in the town that offer better value.

Although close to the train station, trains are not overly frequent in Montecatini - this is something to consider when deciding whether Montecatini is a suitable base location for exploring.

Lovely, well placed, spacious hotel. Perfect for the local parkrun at Terme.
Pros:

Fantastically well placed and a really lovely, spacious property. Breakfast was amazing. We asked for a late check out because we were running the parkrun and they accommodated this without issue.

Functional but a bit outdated
Pros:

Location is good. Great service. Room size is good. Parking and ZTL handling is dond good. Nice bar and restaurant. Option to skip room cleaning for complementary drink.

Cons:

Room was fully functional but notably outdated, broken tiles, rusty radiator.
Nothing too critical or affecting function, but not the best first impression for 4 star hotel, especially if expectations are based on the images on Booking. The bathtub looks dirty although it is not, just damaged.

Charming hotel
Pros:

The hotel is charming, we were welcomed warmly by the reception staff who advised on where to park and gave a token for parking. They also advised on places to visit whilst there. It was incredibly hot whilst we were there and the lobby was beautifully cool and we really enjoyed drinks in the courtyard in the evening. The bar manager was great efficient and friendly. We had to leave early in the morning for our flight and they very kindly allowed us to have breakfast early. This is a lovely hotel with great staff and we would happily recommend.

Wonderful few days meeting up with family.
Pros:

Buffet breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of choices and attentive staff. We had the set evening meal one night which was again delicious and excellent value for money. The hotel was quite grand with a slightly faded elegance about it. Drinks from the hotel bar a reasonable price. Excellent location for the train for Florence, Lucia and Pisa. Really good communication prior to arrival. We were lucky and there was a concert, a tribute if you like to the three tenors and we were able to get tickets.

Cons:

A very minor wing, the glass chandelier in our room had elements missing or broken, in no way detracted from our stay but `I found my self trying to work out what was missing or misaligned. It was a shame as everything else was top notch.

A wonderful stay in Montecatini in the perfect hotel.
Pros:

An absolutely beautiful Art Nouveau Hotel with the most gracious & stylish furnishings.Extremely helpful & friendly staff.Lovely,easy location from the station for those day trips to Lucca & Florence . Marvellous.
