Charming, friendly staff, great location to the ferry terminal, good food at the restaurant!
No air conditioning in an unseasonably hot May!
Room, breakfast good. Excellent dinner menu.
Would have liked the choice of a non-Greene King ale.

range of beers needs to reflect mainstream tastes.Craft beers and premium lagers would be welcome.

Accueil très sympa
Grande chambre au calme à 12 minutes à pied du ferry
Pub agréable
The location was superb exactly where we needed to be near Poole harbour , the staff went above and beyond as we left some items in the room and they are forwarding them onto us , that’s what I call customer service
Great location, lovely room, friendly staff.
Nothing have been here numerous of times
Excellent choice!
Had to keep re-setting free Wi-Fi every day. Not really a problem!
Large convenient for the harbour, and comfortable. Friendly staff
Lack of parking
Location and cleanliness
There's no parking and there was no shower in room 8.
When I contacted the hotel by phone I could only exchange with a chatbot that did not understand my question or answer it
Hieman enemmän olisi voinut olla itsepalvelu pöydässä tarjottavaa, esim. vähän juustoa.
My room (#8) was super cosy and quiet, going out to the backyard. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean, and the location of the pub/hotel is amazing, max. 15mins walk from the train/bus station and just around the corner from the port area/promenade.
The reception and restaurant staff were super helpful and I enjoyed the cooked breakfast I addition to the continental breakfast buffet immensely.
A shower head in the tub would have been very appreciated, as it was very difficult to wash my long hair (no mixer tap in the sink, and no shower).
I didn't mind the pigeons I could hear through the roof at all, but might be annoying to some.
With rather low ceilings and very a slim narrow hallway, I would not recommend room #8 to larger/taller guests - for me, that made the room feel even cosier and was not a problem at all.
We have stayed here a few times so handy as we have family who live in Poole the staff are excellent and the rooms are clean and beds are good
Nothing really I did have one little complaint I told the manager about a small problem that we had in the room but unfortunately it was not seen to it did not spoil our stay there and I did mention it when we checked out for the next guest who would occupy that room
Location very handy for Quay, boat trips, and old town. The hotel location was quiet in May. The hotel is on the High Street but the street is pedestrianised, so no traffic noise. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Parking was a few hundred yards away in a multistorey. About £25 for a 2-day stay.
