We really enjoyed our stay at the Hope Anchor Hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself has a lot of character. It is a beautiful historic building with lovely views, which makes the atmosphere feel very special. Everything was comfortable and pleasant, and we would happily stay here again.

Pros:

Loved the staff and breakfast. Location was very good. Close to everything. A beautiful historic town.

Cons:

We had to pay for parking at the Strand carpark daily. But it was very close to the hotel.

Great location, large room
Pros:

Location is great, good for getting around Rye, and they are part of a chain of properties which link. We had breakfast and the lady who looked after all the people at breakfast was excellent- nothing was too much trouble. When we left the cleaner went out of her way to help us.

Cons:

Room was large but tired. A few things would dog a kind way towards freshening it up. Mattress very poor.
Reception when we arrived was not great or customer oriented. It gave a vans first impression

Pleasant quiet ocation, nice friendly staff with laid back vibe.
Pros:

Room was very sweet - location very central with great views and quiet. Cooked breakfast was good.
Tea facilties in bedroom were good.

Cons:

Just personal but the coffee from the machine at breakfast was a bit metalic so I left it and bread such as sourdough would have been a nice touch.

Great stay in historic town centre, will return.
Pros:

Lovely historic building in town centre, elevated position, great views. Good breakfast, quirky room with super king bed. Close to parking.

Cons:

Beer selection ok but would have preferred ale on hand pump although I understand that this needs careful management. Therefore a better selection of bottled beers would be welcome.

Emplacement au top

Cons:

La propreté pas terrible (moquette tachée et poussière sur le mobilier)
Gros problème pression de l eau dans la douche et évacuation
Pas de parking dans l hotel stationnement parking public

La colazione e la posizione per visitare Rye.

Cons:

La scarsa pulizia: moquette completamente macchiata, mucchi di polvere su ventilatori, mobili e tende, ragnatele sulle pareti. Bisogna lasciare le finestre chiuse perché c'è rischio che entrino piccioni in camera, noi ne abbiamo cacciato uno appena in tempo.
