Nive room, nice situation, friendly reception
The breakfast as the coffee was undrinkable and the mushrooms served were strange and unpleasant

TV reception temperamental. Outside space could be updated as it is a lovely sunny spot for an evening drink.

Das Hotel ist total charmant, man kommt sich vor wie in einem Agatha Christie Roman. Die Lage ist auch super, um Rye schön erkunden zu können. Frühstück war lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich.
Der Wasserdruck der Dusche war etwas schwach.
Wir haben hier das letzte mal vor vielen Jahren übernachtet und unser Eindruck von damals wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück war ordentlich mit frischen Eierspeisen uns hat nichts gefehlt. Toll fanden wir, dass man uns vorher eine Restaurant Empfehlung geschickt hat und uns auch einen Tisch reserviert hat. Das Essen war sehr gut und fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Parkplätze sind am Haus nur zum ein und ausladen, aber fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Rye ist immer eine Reise wert.

The room was of a good size and although the hotel is set on a hill. The location had lovely views and it was very peaceful. The staff were all very friendly and we had housekeeping everyday. The hotel had a happy hour too!!
When we first got into our room there was a beetle crawling across our bed!! The fan may only just have been put in the room but it was very dusty. The there was no plug near the fridge for us to be able to plug it in! Our room was split into two sections and although there was a TV in both sections one of them was not working.

De kamers waren niet proper, grote stofnesten op de verwarmingselementen, zelfs de handdoekdroger hing vol stof, toch hingen er propere handdoeken op.

Good location.
While I understand that historic buildings cannot always accommodate air conditioning, the fans provided were too small for the room, and the windows did not fully open. Given the price, I don't feel the room we stayed in did the hotel justice.
