Kindly note if the breakfast option is not chosen while booking, it will be GBP 15.00 per person per day to order upon arrival at the hotel.
Please note that parking spaces are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis and cost GBP 10 per car per day. Parking can be reserved and guaranteed for an additional cost of GBP 20.00 per car per day.
Early check-in between 12:00 and 15:00 is subject to availability by prior request with the property and for an additional fee of GBP 10 per hour. Check-in before 12:00 will incur a fee equal to the full room rate (subject to availability).
Late check-out between 11:00 and 14:00 is subject to availability by prior arrangement with the property and for an additional fee of GBP 10 per hour. Check out after 14:00 will incur a fee equal to the full room rate (subject to availability).
When booking more than 10 bed nights, different policies and additional supplements may apply as cancelation policy is 28 days prior to arrival, after which payment is due and the booking becomes nonrefundable.
Food is served in the Star Bar or alternatively, in your room from 6.00pm - 9.00pm, Mondays to Thursdays. Unfortunately the hotel does not offer food after breakfast on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; the team is happy to recommend eateries in the local vicinity.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Location is excellent if you can get a room at the rear of the hotel. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Check in and out was swift and efficient.
I asked for a room at the rear of the hotel after reading previous feedback when i booked, but unfortunately I had a noisy street night experience. And also the bathroom had no vanity unit, no drinking water, and no mini fridge in the bedroom.
The spa, the room was good size
I think its really poor that a hotel then charges separate for parking your car. £20 for 2 nights is ridiculous!! Youve already paid for stay at hotel that should.include parking. I didnt see that it cost when booked on here so was unpleasant aurprised
Location of the hotel we came on train and the hotel was just across the road also right in the heart of the town centre

This Hotel was spotless the Team do an amazing job and the Staff were lovely the room was lovely very spacious big bathroom will definitely stay here again and the Location was brilliant great value for money and breakfast was included definitely recommended.
Only minor issues our wardrobe was right behind the door so when you opened the door it hit off the wardrobe so it only opened half way and could hit you because you forget,and the big mirror in the bedroom could do with a light above it thats it.
Location was excellent for train station (basically right next door to hotel) with a cool breakfast venue directly across road, and is situated in main shopping street. Very close to Cathedral, river etc.

Great location. Good-sized room with plenty of seating and desk space. Very clean. Very friendly staff. The parking was no problem, but we stayed mid-week. The breakfast was good but when it was busy there seemed to be a wait for more cooked food.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms, but a fan is provided. It was fine when we stayed because the weather wasn't hot. The window had limited opening (for safety), so on a hot night a fan might not be enough.
Excellent facilities, very clean. Waiting staff in restaurant very professional and food was delicious. Reception staff were very friendly and professional.

The breakfasts were delicious with good options catering for all tastes. The attending staff were pleasant and accommodating and we really enjoyed it. When we booked out we had a lovely conversation with Michelle who embodied everything you’d wish to see from a staff member, chatty, smiling and very helpful with some questions we had. She made our minds up that we definitely want to come back.
Nothing really. One lift was not working but that was a very minor issue and don’t bother us.
