Comfortable room and good location.
Pros:

We had a good stay at this hotel. Check-in was quick and simple, and check-out was even faster with the self-checkout machines. The room was comfortable and surprisingly spacious.. The bathroom was great, and the whole place was really clean. It was also nice and quiet, so no complaints about noise, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly.

The extra touches were very handy. They give you the right clothes and slippers to go down to the public baths, and having free fresh water stations on every floor plus a self-service laundry made things very easy. We didn't have breakfast included at first, but buying it later was painless and the food was good.

To be honest, we weren't big fans of Kyoto's public transport system, especially after coming from Tokyo, but the hotel's location is good and we actually managed to walk to quite a few places.

Cons:

There were a few downsides worth mentioning. First, the public bath towel system is a bit inconvenient. Since guests must bring towels from their room, they end up completely soaked, leaving you without a dry option afterward. A fresh towel station at the bath exit would be a great addition; since the rooms lack a proper drying area for towels (hope I'm not wrong), I had to call reception for replacements later that night.

Additionally, the self-service laundry was frustrating. The dryers are quite weak, leaving our clothes damp; a complaint we also heard from other guests as well.

Lastly, while the breakfast tasted good, it lacked variety for the price point and could benefit from more options.

Pros:

Specious room, clean and calm design. Good location. There is an Onsen which I missed but it’s a great bonus after a long day walking. We hope to come back again.

Staff super disponibile e gentilissimo. Camere spaziose e sempre pulite. Posizione ottima e zona tranquilla con collegamento a metro. Buone le vasche comuni. Letti comodissimi. Adattatori prese molto gradite. Molto gradite le fontanelle d'acqua ai piani, soprattutto grazie ai bicchieri in acciaio disponibili in camera che mantengono sia il caldo che il freddo per ore. Ottima qualità/prezzo!

Pros:

Onsen in hotel. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

Only qualm was that there wasn’t really any space to put a toiletry bag in the bathroom.
