Hotel v skvelej lokalite, hlavné atrakcie v pešej vzdialenosti. Najlepšie časy má už za sebou, ale stále skvelý pomer cena/výkon. Veľmi milý personál.

Pros:

It is in the centre of Istanbul, 10 min walking distance to Sultanahmed mosque and Hagia Sophia. 2 min walking to tram way station. 5 min walk to grand bazar. Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff , especially at the reception very welcoming and took great care of us.

Cons:

Arrival to the property. The road for vehicles is closed As from 10 am to 18:00 . The taxi dropped 10 min walking and I had 4 luggages with me. This informal should have been provided prior the arrival and assistance should have been provided. The tuktuk driver told me 20 usd to carry only my luggage to the hotel which was 3 min driving. :/

We arrived early in the morning. Although early check in was officially available from 11:00 AM, we reached Balpetek Hotel at 9:00 AM. The staff kindly invited us to wait in the lobby and offered us water, tea, and coffee. To our pleasant surprise, our room was ready by 9:30 AM, and we were able to check in much earlier than expected. We understand that this is not always possible, so we are truly grateful to the hotel team for their understanding, hospitality, and care.
The room was very comfortable, completely renovated, and felt brand new. It had everything we needed, including a perfectly functioning air conditioner, refrigerator, tv, safe, and kettle. We were even provided with disposable slippers. Erman helped us navigate the public transportation system and generously provided us with an Istanbulkart to use during our stay, which we returned to the receptionist before checking out. Thank you so much for your kind gesture, it reflects an incredible level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail. We truly appreciated it!

The mattress was comfortable with medium firmness, making for an excellent night's sleep. The overall standard of the hotel easily feels comparable to a four star property or even higher. Thank you for paying such close attention to every detail.
The hotel is located on a quiet street, yet the vibrant city atmosphere is just around the corner. There is a large supermarket nearby where you can find everything you might need. A short walk in the opposite direction brings you to an excellent café serving delicious kebabs and grilled dishes. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and cafés to suit every taste.

Cons:

One day, there was no hot water due to a boiler malfunction. However, the issue was fixed promptly, and the staff handled the situation efficiently. These things can happen anywhere, so we don't consider it a drawback, but rather an example of the hotel's quick and professional response.

Excelente ubicación en barrio historico de Sultanhammet
Pros:

Tuvimos un problema con el equipaje en el avion ( se extravio) y con la ayuda del personal de recepcion (varias llamadas) a la compañia aerea, el problema se resolvió .
La ubicacion en pleno barrio Sultanhammet es muy buena.
