Location is good but everything else is lackluster.
Pros:

Location was nice near train station. 13 mins from the lion carving. Near the port for boat tours. Close to the lake parks. If you cancel your room cleaning you get a free drink at the cafe downstairs. Also you get a 10% discount at the cafe too. The tap water is safe to drink.

Cons:

When I checked in my card did not work initially so I had to come back downstairs and make another key card. But then it worked? Was just annoying. There wasn’t instructions for how to check out. Also when it was check out time it was from 8-11. So it was not super clear how you would manage. Laundry is there and there’s soap but you have to use an app. There’s a coffee machine but no milk or creamers in the laundry room. The luggage room is open and does not lock which is a bit unsafe. The pillows were really flat I wish they were fluffier. Also there was no kitchen paper towel so cooking was interesting trying to clean up messes. The walls need a paint job it looks kinda crusty. For the price it was I would not go back.

Great location and value in the heart of old town Luzern.
Pros:

Location was excellent, right in the heart of the Altstadt and nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops. It was a short walk (6-7 min) from the Luzern train station, which was very convenient. Facilities were clean and tidy. Air conditioning was a plus, especially since it was near 35-37 deg Celsius while we were there. Check in and check out were easy with a self service kiosk at the hotel entrance.

Cons:

Air conditioning was a plus, but for some reason, our wall unit made a loud vibrating noise every few minutes. Maybe needs servicing?

The location was good.

Cons:

The air conditioning was non-existent. This property shouldn't be advertised as air conditioned. The bathroom was extremely small - you couldn't even open your arms in the shower. The overall cleanliness at arrival was terrible. My family had a really tough time the whole week. I will be trying to get my money back.

Stay was fine. The self check in issues need to be more reliable.
Pros:

I liked the concept of self check-in. The cafe right next to the Lubo was great. Proximity to the tran station was great. Air conditioning for the hot days was great.

Cons:

The self check-in process was not great as the kiosk was down. There were at least 5 groups of people trying to check in with us all having to call the number for help at the same time. The unpleasant experience was exasperated by the heat.

Room was a little small for our preference. We spent more time in our room than we normally would have because of the heat.
