A very disappointing experience — my confirmed booking was not honoured and the proposed alternative was completely unsu
Pros:

Unfortunately, I did not get the opportunity to properly stay at the property because I was refused check-in due to the property being described as overbooked.

Cons:

I was extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite having a confirmed booking, I was told at check-in that the property was overbooked, while another member of our group was still checked in. Staff then attempted to relocate me to another property that was not an equivalent alternative. The alternative accommodation did not resemble the advertised photos or description and lacked basic facilities I expected from the original booking, including a fridge and kitchen facilities. The staff were also rude and unprofessional when dealing with the situation. Overall, the accommodation and handling of the booking fell significantly below what was advertised and what I had booked.

A first time for everything.
Pros:

Ample parking. Also a warm greeting.

Cons:

Fireworks going off at the rear of the property in a neighbouring houses garden.
Snoring sound from next doors bedroom from late on until morning.
I awoke at 2:30 and needed a drink. I switch on the table light and made a drink and then consumed my drink at the desk, I arose from the chair to rinse my cup and I noticed a cockroach on the bedding I had pulled back.
I stunned it with a blow from a milk carton and the picked it up with a tissue and flushed it down the toilet.
That was the first time I have ever noticed a cockroach in an hotel after years of travelling in the United Kingdom.
Not a pleasant occurrence and an off putting event.
Having said this, the room and bathroom where very clean.

Great value, lovely staff, I have stayed in many places and the staff here are the best so polite, friendly and helpful
Pros:

Staff are really nice, always friendly, helpful , you always get a welcoming a smile and greeting. They can’t be faulted. Great team.

Good location.

Lovely staff, welcoming , helpful and always a smile. The room is clean with fresh laundry and towels great value.
Pros:

Very clean great value and the staff, especially the young lady and gentleman on reception always a welcoming smile and greeting and very helpful.

Pros:

Room was nice, clean, bed comfortable. The hotel is clean as well. Quiet area, overall a very nice simple place for a good price.

Cons:

The hotel could have slightly bigger sign outside as it's in the residential area in line with other houses and looks like one too. If I wouldn't use the map I would easily pass by ;)

Bed for 2 nights
Pros:

Everything that I needed was provided

Cons:

No signage to say building was a hotel (walked past it twice!),Nearest cashpoint is 1/2 mile back down the road at the petrol station and charges £1.99 for a withdrawal.
In the very small fine print virtually impossible to find is a note to say that the hotel requires £200 CASH deposit and will not allow check in without it after a 4 hour trek having to walk back on myself was not on my bingo card, however, all said and done it was a bed for 2 nights (could do with replacing mattress as can feel the springs) and ticked the boxes for what was required, would I stay here again possibly but wouldn’t be my first choice
