Good location for what we needed, walking distance from restaurants on Melbourne street. Fantastic clean modern room with large bathroom. Friendly staff.

Difficult to find the entrance
The room itself was well furnished and looked clean on arrival. The location is excellent for a calm stay, with great access to walking and running trails by the River Torrens, nearby parks, and the city. The on-site reception staff (Paquita) was very friendly and helpful. She offered me a better room that meets my expectation as the initial one was quite disappointing.
The room I was first given did not match the expectations created by the photos, with a tiny window facing a building and no view at all. The shower leaked badly after only a few minutes, with water spreading across the room entrance, and toward the corridor, and the air conditioning made a very strange noise overnight. Online support was not helpful, and guests should know this is more of a self-service stay than a traditional hotel, with no proper full-service reception, room service, daily housekeeping, restaurant, or even vending machines.
