Good location. That's about it.

Cons:

Very uncomfortable bed, with the cheap mattress sliding and falling off the edge of the bed. The pillows were massive and not comfortable to sleep on at all. The room was basically an attic with direct contact with the roof and had one window. It was like a sauna inside, and the loud metal fan didn't help much. Shower cabin was very tiny. For 150 EUR one would expect a bit more, but I guess that's the deal in Gouda...

Close to town.

Cons:

Had the attic room and you had to duck so as not to bang your head on the beams. The room was tiny. The heat in the room was terrible, no aircon just a noisy fan, the sink is not in the shower room, the shower curtain needed cleaned, the water went hot and cold when in the shower, the digital key is a nightmare to use. The washing machine didn't work. Only one towel per person, no hand towels. The beds were small and uncomfortable.

Room 1 was very comfortable with a lovely private patio hotel guests could use. Around the corner from Lang Tiendelaan. Perfect location.

Pros:

De plek, op loopafstand van station Gouda. En minder duur dan andere hotels. Maar dat heeft een reden...

Cons:

Niet vermeld door Bookings: je hebt een app nodig om binnen te kunnen komen, er is geen receptie. Mijn schoonzoon heeft geprobeerd deze te installeren. Twee uur later was de conclusie: de telefoon is te oud, dit werkt er niet op. Hij heeft toen geprobeerd een vervangende telefoon te regelen. Totdat bleek dat er een storing het het systeem van het hotel zat. Toen heb ik gebeld. Je blijkt in een ander hotel in Gouda een sleutel te kunnen halen. I.v.m. met uitvallen van treinen ben ik uiteindelijk helemaal niet geweest.

Great location & rooms! We were close to the shopping, restaurants & cheese market.
Pros:

The location was perfect for our activities. The rooms & beds were comfortable.
The staff was friendly & helpful once we made contact upon arrival.

Cons:

The digital key system was onerous, but once we got the key cards we were happy.
It would have helped to know before arriving that we could get key cards at the nearby hotel instead of sweating how we would get in.
We loved the ability to park nearby & wish that parking lot was included in the hotel information.
