Staff were lovely. Rooms great and pool too. When we first got there we thought we had picked the wrong location BUT THEN we walked towards Hoa Lu old town and had two great evenings in local cafes one a Bia Hoi and got invited into a wedding reception!

Si Grand, the good and the bad !
Pros:

Excellent room which was very well maintained throughout my stay, 5 star given it cost around £30 a night. However beware, you need to be clear in your expectations as there are rooms which do not have any windows so effectively a box - fine if you are only doing an overnight but not longer term. Likewise a fairly good pool, where you can get a reasonable swim. Whilst you have a main road outside, the main walkway is along the river and every evening and morning lots of locals traverse up and down and this is all lovely and relaxing. I hired a scooter for moving around, you really need some transport.

Cons:

Well few eating facilities at hand likewise with a bar or so if you want to relax with a drink. That said a 20 minute walk or taxi will take you to the main centre. I loved my time in ninh binh, but be clear this is no Tam Coc awash with backpackers, here at NB you'll be immersed in Vietnamese culture and the people are so welcoming.

Too far out, so needed transport to go anywhere. There were very few cafes etc nearby. Breakfast had to be ordered the night before.

Goedkoop maar niet voor herhaling vatbaar

De locatie was goed. Vriendelijke personeel.

Cons:

De wifi deed het niet. Het stonk in de lobby. Er zal bar zijn op het dak het lijk daar verlaten. De foto,s op Booking. Com kwamen niet over een. Er zal een ontbijt zijn maar we konden alleen iets bestellen en was geen buffet.

La literie était confortable mais l’emplacement n’est pas idéal pour un séjour à Ninh Binh.

Cons:

La Clim était poussiéreuse, nous avons loué un scooter mais il n’avait plus d’essence du tout à l’intérieur. Normalement le petit déjeuner est proposé, le jour J nous avons été pris au dépourvu lorsqu’elle nous a annoncé qu’il n’y en avait pas. Nous avons payé une nuit chère pour se faire plaisir alors que finalement nous n’avons pas pris réellement plaisir. Des enceintes audio Bluetooth sont dans la chambre, ce qui peut être un +, mais s’allume en permanence lorsque nous entrons dans la chambre donc vaut mieux se lever en même temps et revenir en même temps si vous ne voulez pas que les enceintes hurlent dans vos oreilles.
