Our stay was comfortable, clean, and convenient.
Pros:

The breakfast room and options were fantastic. Great location if you have a car as most things are within 15 minutes drive. Comfortable beds. Staff were very kind.

Cons:

The hot tub was out of service. Immediate are around the hotel is not walkable.

Cons:

The location although downtown had many vagrants doing drug deals on the road behind the property. The lobby was tacky, the pool very small for the number of people staying. My room looked into the motel in front of the property so no view and I didn’t feel safe and secure in this neighbourhood. Very budget hotel at an inflated price

Perfect Uni drop off stay
Pros:

This was a University drop off and we booked 2 rooms at La Quinta Inn. The hotel is very well located, modern, clean, no frills. Rooms are spacious and have good amenities. Beds are comfortable. We drove from Vancouver with 2 cars, we were able to park on site no problem. It's a short drive to UBCO, you near Walmart, Homesense, Orchard Park Mall and restaurants within 3min drive or 10min walk. Hotel offers onsite Breakfast which consist of scrambled eggs, sausages, you can make you own waffles, toast/bagels, cereals and coffee/tea. Overall good Value

Cons:

Despite being a strictly non smoking hotel, the pungent marijuana smells on our floor was the 1 thing that prevents us from giving a 10/10. We did notify the front desk.

Cons:

There are two separate accommodations at this location, operating under different names. However, guests from both properties come to this hotel for breakfast and to use the swimming pool. As a result, the breakfast area, parking lot, and pool are often very crowded due to the combined number of guests.

Great for a family with children
Pros:

The room was wonderful. It was a brilliant design with the bunk beds above the queen beds. Perfect for a family. I wish more hotels would adopt this style room. My kids were so excited to see they each got a bunk! Breakfast was good and coffee was good as well.

Cons:

The EV parking was not activated and working. Also the access into the hotel is awkward. Very tight getting to the front lobby especially when there are numerous vehicles coming in.
