So, the place has multiple rooms spread across 2 floors - which means you can travel with a large group! However, the biggest weakness of the place is that there is only ONE Bathroom and Toilet for the entire house. We travelled as a group of 4 and there were at least 3 other people in the house at different times. 7 people - 1 bathroom - go figure the wait times! If you are in hurry in the morning - you better be well planned! :) There should be at least one more bathroom for a property this size - at minimum! We wasted a lot of time in waiting for turns to use the bathroom! Kitchen utensils are not that great - usable but not the best - most likely from misuse from previous guests. The pantry is stocked with basics like sugar, salt, oil, tea, coffee, and whatever other guests leave for others - which is nice - except that there is no control over what is still good and well past its expiry date! So use at your own risk! :) Finally, there is no real grocery shop or bakery nearby - the minimum is a 15 min walk or a 10 min taxi ride to an ASDA nearby. So that is another location weakness - though there is a bus stop just outside the house! So, its a place where a lot of planning is required! However, great value for money! I would only stay again if there was one more bathroom! Else it is too stressful especially when you are there for work and are staying with many unknown people!. If you go with a big group of your own - better make a roster and a timetable to use the bathroom and you will likely manage it fine :)

The room was very nice and beautifully decorated, but the cleanliness could be improved. There was dust on the bedside table, and the mirror was dirty. The room also contained razors and toothbrushes, but these were available at an extra charge, which was not obvious.
Advice for the owners: The room is lovely, so please pay a little more attention to dusting and cleaning the mirrors. This would make the stay even more enjoyable.

Parking was the first issue we encountered, however we were leaving around 3am for a flight so it didn’t really matter if we’d blocked people in as he’d advised they were all leaving at 6am. It states shared bathroom but there is only one in the property for 5 rooms. Needless to say you did have to wait at times. The bathroom floor seemed to be wet most of the time and the damp smell was overbearing. The ceiling was covered in mould and the bath panel was either mouldy or rotting. Thankfully I didn’t need a shower as I didn’t fancy getting in it. The bedroom itself was ok but randomly what would have been doors had been covered with a thick plastic so you couldn’t see in or be effected by the light. If the rooms are to be separate surely remove the doors and put a stud wall in!

We had no info about how to get in until we called and it was emailed .

Cobwebs in the room corners - extension leads all over - fridge in the room was stinking - the wooden baton holding the curtain rail up was hanging off - don't know if it was insects cause of the warmth or they lived there rent free - the bathroom panel rotten - toilet had someone's faeces in still - kitchen splashes of grease all over the back panel and side - garden view (apparently) what a state. It's that good I have booked somewhere else for the rest of my work week.
