Consistently praised central, walkable location near bars, harbour and restaurants; convenient public car park behind the building.

Rooms described as stylish with comfortable beds and good decor; some negatives (room got very warm, ticking/creaking noise, loose tap, lack of chairs in an accessible twin).

Beds very comfy, rooms large and hotel centrally located
Pros:

Centrally located but peaceful. Room lovely and large, great bathroom with a bath. Staff were very friendly

Cons:

Would have liked a few more choices at breakfast such as muesli, toast, sweet pastries. Needs more hangers in the wardrobe but all these are picky!

Beautiful hotel but high price not worth one night treat
Pros:

Comfortable clean rooms, with beautiful decor and overall feeling.

Cons:

Noise from both the courtyard and the main street seemed to echo into the room.

Lacked a special touch or welcome on arrival

Very central location in perfect surroundings. Dungarvan is a very nice town to visit.
Pros:

The daily breakfast shots, strawberry granola bowl and smoked salmon were excellent. The coffee was a also excellent.
The decor and standard of furnishings was very high.

Cons:

The tables in the breakfast area were small and very close together.

A great place to stay in Dungarvan
Pros:

We loved everything about the hotel with one exception .
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise too.

Cons:

The coffee maker in the room was a complicated design and it was located in a tiny very dark corner. Most people would be unfamiliar with the operation of the machine and it was impossible to see the controls. There were no instructions provided.

Hidden gem
Pros:

Really cute hotel tucked off the main square in the town. The location is two seconds walk from the water front and really close to cafes bars and restaurants. Once you walk in the door of the property it’s like you are in a different world, it’s quiet luxury and it feels like a little secret location. The room was extremely comfortable, quiet and had lovely luxury feel to it.

Cons:

Breakfast was delicious but they don’t have any hot options.

Noisy ground floor room in a central hotel with parking in public car park
Pros:

Central location

Cons:

Our room was on ground floor noisy and public unless curtains were drawn. Advert showed fancy baths but we should have been more careful about our room which only had a shower. The loo seat was loose. There was parking as the advert said but it was not free. We had to park on the far side of the public car park and pay 3.30 euros for the night. No cooked breakfast was available but we had nice croissants and coffee and fresh orange juice

A lovely small boutique hotel in the town centre.
Pros:

Very central in the town. There is a large public car park behind the hotel. Free parking between 5pm and 9am.

The only thing I would have liked was a cooked breakfast option.

Really lovely staff in The Hat Makers Hotel, Waterford.
Pros:

Breakfast was nice but didn't realise it was a continental breakfast - cereal, croissant, meats/cheese, overnight oats tea/coffee.
