Pros:

The location is perfect for visiting both Kamikochi and Norikura. We do not want to stay in hotels inside Kamikochi as we wanted to visit places of interest in Matsumoto too. The location allows us to plan our day during our 3 nights stay based on weather conditions. It's an easy 20mins drive to the Sawando Bus terminal where you can get the bus or taxi into Kamikochi within 30mins. From the hotel, it's a short drive and/or hike to all the attractions in Norikura. It's an hour drive to Matsumoto town. There's also an amazingly fantastic Soba restaurant just a short drive away. The hotel is small but has everything you need including a very nice and cozy milky white onsen. The staffs are all very friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel is very well maintained and have convenient parking spaces right in front of the hotel.

Cons:

if I were to be picky, I would have liked to have instant coffee packs etc in the rooms. The coffee at the breakfast is also a bit too bland for our liking. But that's about it.

価格が少し上のバス有りを選択したが、バス無しの部屋に案内され、伝えたところ、トイレはありましたよね？という返答でした。
結局お部屋は変更していただけましたが、残念でした。
冷蔵庫の中や机も汚れがあり、次回使用は控えようと思いました。

The staff and particularly Nike was so nice and helpful with us it was a pleasure to have him in our stay in the hotel.

It was a pleasant stay. Would stay again if I revisit the area.
Pros:

The bus stop (Suzuran-Ue) was just right in front of the hotel .

The fittings of the hotel were new and neat.

The twin-bed room we stayed was of Japanese layouts with modern features. The room was neat and clean. A private toilet was provided in the room.

The staff members were kind and helpful. They spoke English. A few messages of inquiries made prior to checking were answered promptly and precisely.

Cons:

The lighting in the room was a bit dim to my taste.
