Satisfying, mission accomplished even in poor weather.
Pros:

Stayed there for a bicycle trip up Mt. Norikura, Komakusa Hotel location is only 6Km from Sanbondaki Rest House traffic gate. We simply ride from hotel and return there, saved the trouble of bicycle transportation and driving. Hotel is cyclist friendly, a few bicycle stands are available for guests at front door carpark. Dinner and breakfast are good quality and appropriate proportion. Japanese style room is spacious and clean. The in-house onsen is very good relaxation after full day exercise. Staffs are friendly and fluent in English.

Cons:

This is not about the hotel itself, is the Google street view picture of Komakusa Hotel a little bit worrying to strangers, Totally different from the real hotel. The picture needs updating.

Bisogna arrivarci con la luce per he con il buio e la pioggia e‘ un po gravoso. Non vi sono possibilita‘ di cenare dopo le 18:30 in zona , ma non e colpa della struttura

気持ち良く泊まれました
Pros:

お部屋も清潔感があり、とても良かったです。
温泉は少し熱いお湯ですが、疲れが取れ気持ちよかったです。

Cons:

お風呂は11時まででしたが、せっかくの温泉なので、朝も入りたかったです。
脱衣所に扇風機が欲しかったです。

Perfekter Aufenthalt in den Bergen Japans!
Pros:

Wundervolles ruhiges Hotel in den Bergen mit einem schönen Onsen. Unbedingt das Abendessen dazu buchen, das war sehr gut und wirklich besonders!
Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und der Herr an der Rezeption war einer der nettesten und freundlichsten Menschen, denen wir auf unserer ganzen Reise begegnet sind.
Mein Sohn hatte seinen e-Reader im Hotel vergessen, und das Personal hat sich sofort bei uns gemeldet und ihn ganz unkompliziert an unser nächstes Hotel weitergeschickt. Vielen Dank noch mal dafür!

Cons:

Die Futons waren etwas hart, aber das gehört wohl zum Erlebnis dazu! Nächstes Mal würde ich evtl. ein Zimmer mit Betten buchen…

Etwas näher ans traditionelle Japan rücken und dabei umsorgt werden
Pros:

Ein traumhaftes Hotel für eine Pause von Japans beeindruckenden, modernen Metropolen. Abseits in den japanischen Alpen in der Nähe zur Busstation. Wer japanische Freundlichkeit erlebt hat, lernt hier die freundlichsten und hilfsbereitesten Mitarbeiter überhaupt kennen. Wir waren mit unsere 18/20-jährigen Söhnen dort. Es wurde alles unternommen, um den beiden ein Essen zu servieren, was ihnen schmeckt. Wer gern japanisch isst, sollte der Küche vertrauen. Unbedingt die Thermalbecken nutzen! Nach einer Wanderung ein Traum, inkl. der zugehörigen Reinigung zuvor.
