Tolle Lage, aber dürftige Ausstattung und bemühtes, aber unprofessionelles Personal

Die Lage ist hervorragend, mitten im Zentrum, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist passabel, die Bestellung eher umständlich. Wir hätten ein Buffet vorgezogen, auch etwas mehr Variation wäre angenehm gewesen.

Cons:

Wir waren 1 Woche in diesem Hotel und vorher 1 Woche in Lissabon und Porto, dementsprechend mit großem Koffer unterwegs. Dafür erwarte ich an einem Ferienort einen vernünftigen Schrank, den es aber nicht gab. Die 2 Regalbretter kann man nicht als Schrank bezeichnen. Das bedeutet, wir lebten 1 Woche aus dem Koffer. Das ist inakzeptabel!
Das Personal war freundlich und bemüht, aber leider nicht gut ausgebildet und unprofessionell. Nur als Beispiel: Die Bitte um Unterstützung bei der Espressomaschine führte zu kaltem (!) Kaffee und überlaufender Tasse.

Nice stay in Lagos downtown in a freshly renovated and modern yet cosy hotel facility
Pros:

wonderful breakfast on the terrace outside, high standards overall (freshly renovated), location right in the old city centre of Lagos, yet quiete (at least if you have a room towards the sea, not towards the old city centre with pedestrians). Really very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

make sure you know where to park, there is a parking garage nearby and you can exit from the hotel there, but unfortunately you cannot enter the hotel, you have to go all the way around through the pedestrian area. I find the value for money ratio not good - meaning, overpriced regarding the hotel.

Clean, enjoyable, social, and restful.
Pros:

Breakfast was overall quite good. I would have preferred some more warm/hot options. But the menu being a la carte made it much more personalized versus a buffet. The room was massive and the standing tub was a god send. The grand suite is excellent value versus many other executive-level suites. It punches above its class with excellent size, amenities, and the staff pay great attention. The staff are what set the experience apart. Mya, Rafael, and team were generous with their time, tips, and attention. The WiFi was down most of my stay, but the team put together hotspots to provide some coverage.

Cons:

I don't think it would be a major issue, but for a such a well-located and appointed property, the overall hard security was looser than I would have expected. I would have liked to see the stairwells properly pinned and card access for the elevator and the floors.

The windows of the grand suite face the main thoroughfare; expect some level of noise to make it into the room. Luckily, Lagos gets up late, but they do stay up late.

Otherwise, the stay was impeccable.

Happy memories.
Pros:

The room was pretty with a nice bathroom. Hotel location is perfect for walking to the marina, restaurants and shops right outside, and even getting to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There is no lobby area, a little noisy at night but that’s because of the great location, and I would like a little more variety offered with the food, however the quality was good.

Pros:

Hotel lindo e muito bem localizado, atendimento impecável.

Cons:

Apenas uma sugestão de melhoria para o café da manhã, por ser a la carte, acaba demorando muito. Vc senta para fazer o pedido e só come 30 minutos depois. Poderia ter mais celeridade. Mas a comida é impecável.

Perfect location to wander round the old town with lovely friendly staff
Pros:

Fantastic location, with shops and restaurants and bars all really close. An incredibly friendly staff with a lovely rooftop pool. The lady who checked us in was amazing!

Cons:

The only thing we didn’t like was having to choose a time for breakfast. It is à la carte so you need to book a time. When we are on holiday it’s nice to get up and have breakfast when you feel like it. A small thing I know but would prefer to just decide at the time.

Zentrale Lage, unglaublich freundliches Personal, Zimmer wie auf den Fotos - sehr modern, sehr sauber. Frühstück auch als a la carte völlig in Ordnung.

Cons:

Der Poolbereich war sehr klein, aber auch das ist für die zentrale Lage völlig in Ordnung und der Pool sah etwas "ungepflegt" aus, aber ich wäre dennoch darin baden gegangen.
