Hotel położony blisko ładnej, czystej plaży z leżakami. Żeby dojść do plaży, trzeba przejść przez ulicę, ale nie jest ona bardzo ruchlowa i nie stanowiło to problemu. Przy plaży znajdują się trzy tawerny z dobrym jedzeniem, a przy hotelu sklep. Nieopodal znakdują się miasteczka Agios Nikolaos, Elounda i Plaka, które warto zwiedzić. Można popłynąć na Spinalongę. Bezproblemowe meldowanie, dobry kontalt z obsłigą, Pani, która nas meldowała była bardzo miła i pomocna. Mogliśmy pozostać w pokoju do godziny 13. Mieliśmy duży, ładny, wygodny apartament, bardzo przestronny, czysty i wyglądał jakby był niedawno po remoncie. Polecam to miejsce.

Een leuke accomodatie in een prachtige baai. Kamers zitten in een soort straatje, iedere keer 1 kamer beneden en 1 kamer daarboven, te bereiken via een draaitrap. De kamers hebben een zitje in het straatje en een plaatsje of balkon aan de achterkant. Ruime kamer. De bedden waren heel goed. De douchebak is klein met een douchegordijn. Op de kamer een aanrecht met keukengerei en met koelkast/vriesvak. Kledingkast met hanggedeelte en een paar lades. Weinig stopcontacten op de kamer maar bij de receptie kun je een contactdoos vragen. Goede airco. De manager Maria is heel aardig, ze wil graag dat de gasten het naar de zin hebben. 'snachts is het lekker rustig. Schoonmaak is goed, iedere dag schone handdoeken en vaak schoon beddengoed. De accomodatie heeft een eigen supermarkt. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt bij de accomodatie. Er is ook een mooi zwembad, wij hebben daar 1 keer gebruik van gemaakt. De locatie van de accomodatie is geweldig, de straat oversteken en je zit in de baai. De baai heeft ongeveer 3 hotels en 3 taverna's. Eten bij eigen taverna is heerlijk en gezellig. Accomodatie heeft ook een eigen snackbar. Bedjes op het strand zijn € 10 voor 2 bedjes en parasol. Water in de baai is heel helder, je kan ver lopen voordat het diep wordt. Parkeerplek voor auto of motor/scooter is er meestal wel tegenover het hotel bij de taverna's. Alleen in het weekend is het iets moeilijker parkeren. In de omgeving van de accomodatie is niet veel te doen maar met de auto ben je binnen 10 minuten in Agios Nikolaos. Parkeren kan daar bij de haven voor € 4 per dag en savonds gratis. Accomodatie is een prima start voor tripjes naar het zuiden (Ierapetra), het oosten (Vai), het noorden (Elounda, Spinalonga), het westen (Heraklion, Koutouloufari) enz.

Our studio was very clean

Albergo molto carino situato di fronte alla spiaggia di Ammoudara. Camera essenziale, ma completa. Buona colazione sia dolce che salata. Piscina ben tenuta. La signora Maria alla reception è molto cordiale e dà ottimi consigli sui luoghi da visitare.

This is not a typical hotel, it is more like a miniature neighborhood with walls partly made of rocks for an old city vibe. It is horizontally developed and not vertically, some of its buildings having only one level above the floor to which you climb on asymmetrical stairs. It gives the location a definite warmth and impressive esthetics look.

We had cold bottled water waiting in the fridge upon our arrival which was great! The room had mosquito repellent devices with tablets in case of need (the kind you plug in the outlet). ACs were functional and silent, all the amenities were functional, we did use the oven, the electric cooktop (hob) and the laundry washing machine.

The cleaning personnel was diligent and towels were changed almost daily. The clean swimming pool with tables and lounging chairs was a good place to relax and drink some wine. The hotel is fronted by a bar where you can have breakfast and a minimarket with drinks, snacks, basic food, ice cream, beach related products. I heartedly recommend the hotels restaurant (Ammoudara Tavern) which is in front of the hotel and do try the Ammoudara Salad!

The location is exceptional as the beach is right in front after crossing the street. It is fine grained sandy and there are no rocks at the entrance in the sea. There are rocks at the left side of it you fancy some snorkeling. There are a couple of showers available on the beach.

Shout out to Maria, the lady at the reception, for her invaluable advices on sightseeing destinations and chill beaches which are not necessarily the most advertised ones. Definitely go and ask her for advice.
