Een ruime, rustige en comfortabele kamer centraal in Makati. Het hotel is onderdeel van de Glorietta Shopping Mall, tijdens de openingstijden van deze mall heb je alle faciliteiten onder handbereik.
Je komt binnen na een lange reis en wordt bij check-in gelijk voor het blok gezet: "Meneer, u heeft geen ontbijt geboekt, wilt u dat alsnog toevoegen?" "Sorry, mijn hoofd staat niet naar het beantwoorden van lastige vragen, mag ik alsjeblieft mijn kamer opzoeken?"
Het is meer een zakenhotel dan een relax-hotel. Er is wel een zwembad maar daar heb ik uiteindelijk weinig gebruik van gemaakt.

The room was nice and clean and comfortable. The staff from the time we arrived until (who took our bags with the trolley until we reached our room were very nice. Always greeting and smiling. Accommodating when I request for something from my room. Staff was responspive and nice and accomodating. That made our stay great.
Staff at the reception. We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 am. It was going okay when I was checking in and reminded that we had requested for an early check-in a month ago from the time we reserved our room; by 12 noon. They said they will prioritize us and inform us as soon as the room is available. I told them to call us once okay. They will request housekeeping to clean urgently once the room is vacated. We decided to go around the mall while waiting. 12 noon. No call. 1 pm no call. We went back to the hotel followed it up. The staff said she will follow it up. We waited at the lobby. After 30 minutes, we approached the front desk again to follow it up. The person we followed it up the first time didnt even approach us to update us on what's happening and we were waiting seated right in front, at the front desk. We always had to go to the front desk to keep following it up. This staff didnt do anything to not make us agitated. Even though the check in is at 3 pm, you know your guest were there since 10: 30 am, if you had good service, they would do most anything to not make you agitated. They didnt even try to apologize for our long wait! It was not very nice and I didnt like it. The other hotels we stayed never treated us this way. My rate for the Staff above is low because of the staff at the front desk. Mainly because of them. Not the others.They didnt make me feel like we were guests or welcome or feel at home. And I paid almost 14k for an overnight stay for a standard room only! I did not like we were treated. I feel more at home with New World Makati. And they accommodated most immediately. The staff in the front desk made our stay not nice overall.
We availed of the Buffet breakfast. Food was not good. Eggs were bland and watery. Bangers and chicken sausages were bland. Bacon was not good and crispy. Pancakes were hard. Food was terrible. Not worth it for a buffet. Other hotels have better buffet breakfast.
Food selection is good! Everything is cooked and prepared well. Staff are always on their toes and ready to help with whatever you need. Super worth it!
