Pros:

The food was exceptional. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Room was clean

Cons:

There was a smell of dog in the room when we first opened the door. So opened the window for a bit.
Our stay was spoiled by being unable to sleep. Room 6 there is a constant noise of a fan or boiler from nearby, kept us awake all night.

Ive used this hotel 4 or 5 times now and never been disappointed. Great little place.

Pros:

Staff were friendly some more than others my daughters room was great room 6 and the twin room 8 also ok
Beds all comfortable and clean
Breakfast fantastic hot and tasty

Cons:

Room 5 small with a bathroom door that doesnt shut properly and no windiw or fan in there shower didnt drain water ran over toilet flushed then took ages to be able to flush again and only the small flush worked
Dust was every where on lamp base side table and tv and in bathroom.
No proper wardrobe just a rail with 2 hangers and a open hole above we got the feeling the room was unfinished
If you like to go to bed early this room not for you as it looks out on to the beer garden a little noisy

Perfect for everything we needed.
Pros:

Everything about the hotels was great, the location was perfect for what we needed to be in the city early.

Cons:

Other than the Pubs, Biggar closes at 9.00pm

Advise if arriving late eat earlier en-route.
