Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The staff is outstanding, particularly Isabella at the front desk. The wait staff - great food. Housekeeping impeccable and very, very nice.
The vibe is total relaxation. Great location. Very walkable . 10 minutes from the center and a beautiful beach.
Breakfast was great, and dinner a must.

If you are a beach goer like myself, then this is the perfect spot. It's located close to the port, where there are a few restaurants nearby and a laundry facility if you need it. There is also a mini mart. Le Roccette beach is a 5 min walk. The town is a 10 min walk, a bit of a challenge with the steps and heat in the peak of summer. Alternatively, the hotel offers transfer up to town if needed.
Easy check in, amazing pool, excellent location. Good breakfast with enough choices. Spotless room, high end finishings. Excellent shower.

Excellent location, great breakfast, friendly and attentive staff, great to be able to lounge by the pool and enjoy aperols and an aperitif, or lunch by the pool, before heading back to the beach. Fabulous!
Could do some work on maintaining the pool surrounds and giving the outdoor space A more premium look could easily be achieved. Bathroom was nice however the bedroom was basic.
L’hôtel est moderne et très bien situé, à 5 min à pied d’une des plus belles plages de Tropea, la piscine est très chouette et l’eau bien chaude.
Le service n’est absolument pas celui d’un 5 étoiles, une seule bouteille d’eau en chambre le premier jour, transport vers la plage payant, pas de lounge, pas de salle de sport ni de spa, le petit déjeuner est bien mais on a eu mieux dans beaucoup de 4 étoiles, on a dû monter nous même les valises dans notre chambre alors qu’il n’y a pas d’ascenseur… le rapport qualité prix n’y est pas du tout
Great hotel brilliant pool. Slightly away from the old town but they do have a shuttle service that is excellent.
I recently stayed at Ananea and had a wonderful experience. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The boutique hotel itself met expectations—clean, modern, and comfortable.
I especially enjoyed the large pool, which was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The location is quiet and away from the busy tourist areas of Tropea, yet still very convenient thanks to the navette service to both the beach and the town center.
Food-wise, the hamburger sandwich wasn’t my favorite, but the kitchen was very accommodating and prepared a dish that wasn’t on the menu, which I truly appreciated.
Overall, Ananea delivered a peaceful, comfortable stay with great service. I’ll definitely be back.
One aspect that did not meet my expectations was the access to Blanca Beach. The water there was noticeably more turbulent compared to Lungomare Beach nearby. Although two loungers and an umbrella at Lungomare can be pricey, the clear and calm waters made the experience far more pleasant.
Given that Lungomare Beach is only about 500 meters away, I’m not sure why Ananea hasn’t partnered with them to offer better pricing or preferred access for guests. Such a partnership would significantly enhance the overall beach experience.
Hotel is in an awful location. It is directly next to an abandoned building, with garbage thrown all over and uncontrolled and over grown weeds. Bugs everywhere from the garbage.
