Memorable for all the wrong reasons

Unfortunately one particular bar staff member totally ruined our one night stay ,firstly being quiet rude and secondly lying to the manager to save face , followed by the manager confronting my partner and I with with the allegation which was totally fabricated and furthermore asking if I was going to be a problem for his staff during the rest of the evening. At no time was I aggressive or disrespectful to this staff member or the manager for that matter, following the dressing down from the manager and with no sign of an apology ,we retreated to our room for the remainder of the evening, just goes to show the importance of integrity when hiring staff, I work with the public but sadly it would be hard to recommend this property to anyone .

Cons:

There was no full length mirror in the room. There are plenty of spaces where a full length mirror could be put, even on the inside of the cupboard door, but there was not one anywhere in the room. A full length mirror is a must! I couldnt see how my outfit looked because in the bathroom mirror you could only see the top half, women like to see the full length! That was really the only downside, which was disappointing because we were going to a wedding & I couldn't see what the outfit looked like before we left.

Safe, secure and tranquil. Lady traveller.

I was so surprised! After seeing some bad reviews, I had my concerns. My room (#5) was spotless. The bed was clean and comfortable, I slept so deeply. The fresh towels felt brand new. The shower was so good with excellent water pressure. The ocean view shared balcony has little privacy screens for each room, perfect for waking up watching the sunrise, each room has security door screens. I left my main door open so the sea breeze could flow through. I stayed for the weekend, both nights by 12am I couldn’t hear any pub noise. The photos don’t do it justice, the balcony in the photos isn’t the ocean view balcony but it does show the private entrance to the hotel reception. The pub food 👌🏼

Cons:

The main door to balcony was a little hard to open and close but that’s expected being near water. Wasn’t an issue.

Enjoyed our stay
Pros:

The location is awesome! Walking dictance form everuthing. The food and ambience at the Hotel is very good.

Cons:

Everything was good except if you stay over a weekend as the music might be loud for some between 20:30 to 23:30. Otherwise all was perfect!
