Uitstekend verblijf in een gemoderniseerd hotel tegen een zeer concurrerende prijs.
Pros:

Keurige nette kamers met hele fijne bedden.
Ruime badkamer met perfect werkende douche.
Heel lekker gegeten in de Bistro.

Cons:

Kamer had vloerverwarming, wat op zich fijn is.
Echter de temperatuur had in mijn ogen iets lager gekund, raam er bij open en het ging nog.
Is natuurlijk altijd persoonlijk.
Tevens had de stevigheid van enkele stoelen in de Bistro tijdens het ontbijt zeker wat steviger gekund.

Hmmm dat de wandel toute direct bij het hotel begint

Cons:

Alle extra kosten . Verblijfs kosten ontbijt kosten toeristenbelasting . Ik dacht rond de 200 te betalen voor m'n kamer maar dan wordt het zo 300.. een zeer gewone hotel kamer . Een gewoon ontbijt .. ik zie die 4 sterren niet

Ruime parkeerplaats, geen voorafgaande reservering nodig voor ontbijt of diner. Gelukkig kregen we een sleutel en hadden we onze gsm niet nodig om de deur te openen. Er was geen receptie maar er was wel personeel aanwezig in de bar

Cons:

De kamer en in het bijzonder de badkamer waren te donker en de verlichting veel te zwak. Scheren niet mogelijk en douchen op de tast in het donker

Zeer onpersoonlijke ontvangst. Hoe de digitale code zou komen was onduidelijk. Toen we telefonisch info vroegen was het antwoord ronduit onvriendelijk. Bij check out ongeïnteresseerd. We voelden ons meer de vijand dan de gast. Doorgezakte bedden en slechte geluidsisolatie van gang naar kamer

A wonderful hotel off the beaten track.
Pros:

My wife and I have stayed at Blanckthys Hotel many times over the years. It is a wonderful hotel, situated in a small, quiet town with access to many walking and cycling routes. It is very convenient for the motorway and offers safe car and bike parking at the hotel. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and the hotel has an excellent restaurant offering great food and drink either outside in the courtyard during the summer, or inside during the colder months. The hotel and restaurant staff are very polite and courteous. This year, because the hotel had hosted a large group of people for a local seminar, the manager thoughtfully transferred our room booking to one that would be potentially less noisy because of the number of guests. We really appreciated this gesture! Thank you for making our stay as enjoyable as ever.
