We don't normally leave reviews but we had the absolute best stay! Perfect location. We were blown away by all the amenities and our kids were in heaven - the tent set up in the room, the playground, the pool, the make your own trail mix, the nightly s'mores - so many nice touches that made our stay unforgettable. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the room was great. Would highly recommend to anyone but especially families!

All inclusive breakfast. Very basic items but very good with kids to not have to go get breakfast or pay a fortune to do so. My kids loved the nightly smores, the movie night on Monday and the heated pool and jacuzzi. We upgraded to add a kids tent to my room and my kids thought it was so fun to “camp” with a lantern and it included a stuffie.

Super family friendly! Great breakfast! SO close to Acadia National Park! Nice “extras” like cookies and s’mores and “make-your-own trail mix”!!

We had a wonderful stay here. I booked without knowing much about the hotel, and was very pleasantly surprised. Starting at arrival with the friendly staff at the front desk, then settling into our very clean room, followed by finding all of the little perks for guests such as a coffee/fresh fruit bar and water filling station in the hall for guests. Everything was fantastic!! Breakfast each morning was delicious and the perfect way to start our busy days. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was updated and spacious. There are lots of fun activities for kids. I feel like they thought of everything! I would (and plan to) stay here again in a heartbeat!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Acadia Inn! The hotel was very clean, the complimentary breakfast was excellent, and the entire property is incredibly family-friendly. They truly go out of their way to make kids feel welcome, with activities and amenities that make it clear families are their top priority. One tip: take the free Island Explorer shuttle to Acadia National Park instead of driving. Parking at the park fills up quickly, so the shuttle is by far the easiest and most stress-free way to explore. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Acadia Inn. It was super easy to hop on the Island Explorer shuttle into Bar Harbor. The hotel was clean, the breakfast options were nice and varied, and the staff were all exceptionally kind and friendly.

Outstanding place to stay. I love all the extras that they included. Cookies, hiking snacks and of course Smores! The accommodations were super and the breakfast was really good. I would definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Acadia National Park.

This was one of the best hotel experiences ever. The entire staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and open later than most hotels. It’s clean and has great activities like trail mix making and movies on the lawn and s’mores by the fire pit. I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Acadia or Bar Harbor. During the summer it has a great spot on the free bus loop to go downtown and not have to stress over the parking down town.

This was one of the best, if not THE best, experienced we’ve had with a hotel with our kiddos. Our girls are 2 and 3.5 and they had a blast. They have so many built- in kid friendly activities that the girls were never without something to do. We did the in-room tent experience and the girls LOVED playing in it (which was helpful when my husband and I were trying to get things done). The staff was so friendly and helpful and super responsive, both before we arrived via email, and during our stay. We also used the laundry room in the basement and they provided soap and dryer sheets, which was so helpful. We used the pool, playground, and toys in the yard, and the kids loved it all (and everything was super clean!). Having the Island Express stop tight outside the door is very conscientious as well. I literally have nothing bad to say, and we will definitely be staying here when we come to the park again!

Very convenient to Acadia National Park entrance and downtown Bar Harbor.
Property was fresh and clean. King size room had comfortable furnishings and ample storage.
The breakfast was good with a decent variety of choices.
Would definitely stay there again

Staff, especially Trinity, were fabulous and welcoming. S’Mores along with movie night was an added bonus. Breakfast was extensive and the added facility to make your own trail mix was quite adorable.
