Acadia Inn

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.

Everything! We especially liked all the additional treats and gestures made by the property. They had s’mores and campfires both nights that we stayed. They also provided other gestures like trail mix before hiking or postcards to send out at the end of our stay. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Perfect little place.

Clean, comfortable and the staff, especially Victoria, were fantastic. The free bus into town was brilliant and the staff went the extra mile to accommodate us even after we had checked out!

So appreciated the free shuttle service from the hotel to downtown which ran regularly until 9pm. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious with hot offerings changing day to day. There were so many extras offered; fresh baked cookies and cheese/crackers board every afternoon, smores by the wood fire pit each evening, family friendly movie nights, free make your own trail mix, to name a few.

Everyone was super friendly. Breakfast was great, with so many options. Loved the little personal touches, like movie night and s’mores. Having the bus right outside was awesome for getting around. Would absolutely stay again.

There were so many "extra" accommodations that the Acadia inn had that I did not expect such as, trail mix, cheese boards, smores, movie night with popcorn and a stuffed animal for my daughter at check in. It was all such a treat!

Very clean, staff was super nice, loved the shuttle to bar harbor, great location, great breakfast.

The small EXTRA stuff (smores, evening movie, popcorn, infused water on each floor) were all added nice perks. Being on the Island Explorer bus route was even better. Allowed us to travel downtown without the hassle of finding and paying for parking. Highly recommend this place.

Great breakfast. Nightly s'mores. Movie night for the kids. Something special every day of the week. Awesome pool, jacuzzi and fire pit. Playground for the kids. Shuttle into town every 15 minutes.

The property was well maintained with lots of outdoor games and pool available as well as nightly activities for families. Breakfast is included and there were many options to keep everyone satisfied. The staff was exceptional. The Inn is also on the shuttle route which made it convenient to get to town or Acadia without the hassle of having to find a parking spot.

We had wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and very family friendly. It's a perfect place for families with children. The hotel was very clean and the staff incredible friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Acadia Inn! From the moment we arrived, everything about the hotel felt welcoming, comfortable, and incredibly family-friendly. The staff was wonderful, and all of the little extras—movie nights, s’mores night, and the beautiful Acadia trail right in the backyard—made our stay feel so special.

It was the perfect place for our family to come back to after a day of exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Our kids loved it, we loved it, and by the end of our stay, none of us wanted to leave!

We’ve stayed at many hotels over the years, and we can genuinely say this was probably the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. There’s just something special about the Acadia Inn. We made such wonderful memories here and will absolutely stay again the next time we visit Bar Harbor. We can’t recommend it enough!

We just got back from our family vacation and wanted to say that the staff was warm, welcoming and helpful! The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was great with lots of choices including a separate section that was gluten free. The hotel offers a lot of extras like s’mores and movies at night, make your own trail mix in the morning, emailing restaurant suggestions and other tips. The hotel is on the free shuttle bus into town making it very convenient to shopping , dining and Acadia.
