Elegant old world charm and architecture!

I can not say enough good about this hotel!! It’s beautiful, clean, and architecturally cool! It’s in walking distance to great food, sights, the lake, local attractions, the public market, third ward, etc…Now, to talk about the staff; ten out of ten stars! Every single person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Wilhelm, at the front desk, who we never got to meet, but who picked out a room to accommodate our wants before we even arrived! Then there was Hasani in the bar/restaurant who went way above and beyond, and Ryan at the valet stand who made us feel at home. There were more who deserve accolades, but I didn’t get there names, sadly. One of the best cities and hotels we’ve ever visited. Two huge thumbs up. We will be back!!

Nice hotel in an old bank building. Walking distance to a number of good restaurants.

Amazing historic building downtown. Beautiful atmosphere and the lobby bar/restaurant is great! The furniture in the room is dated and needs updating. The staff were pleasant and welcoming and I highly recommend.

This location is so regal, stunning, and clean! The service was extraordinary ! We felt like we were greeted by our midwestern family. So genuinely kind, professional, swift, and ready to help and make things go a little easier. Our room had a street view and allowed for temperature control. I wish we could have stayed longer! Most hotels aspire to create this kind of experience, and often times it feels forced or scripted. Not here! Thank you everyone!

The hotel stay was overall good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had to ask for a bar soap for the bathroom sink. Not an inconvenience, just saying. We had dinner here and the meals were good too. The hotel staff was always friendly and engaging.
Beautiful details in this hotel yet feel that the upkeep could use some improvement. For example the entrance and "curb appeal" as noted in the pictures could be replaced. The Hilton flag and the carpet used in the entrance are in dire need of being replaced. There's trash in the garden basement area on either side of the main entrance stairs as well. This doesn't take away from the experience with the stay itself but would leave a much better impression of this beautiful building in the heart of Milwaukee.
