Pros:

Everything exceeded my expectations. The highlight was the breakfast, which was exceptional. The variety was enormous, with an extensive selection of high-quality dishes to suit every taste. It was incomparably better than the breakfast at The Tivoli and made for a fantastic start to each day. The staff were courteous, and the overall experience was excellent.

Cons:

The check-in process was disappointing. I arrived around 30 minutes before the official 2:00 pm check-in time and waited at reception. I even asked if there was an extra charge to access my room 30 minutes early, and told the staff I was happy to pay if that was an option. However, I was informed that they could not provide the room before 2:00 pm.

When I asked again about 10 minutes before 2:00 pm, I was once again told to wait until 2:00 pm. However, when it finally reached 2:00 pm, I still had to stand in the queue for another 15 minutes before receiving my room key.

If the hotel is strict about not allowing access before 2:00 pm, then guests who have already been waiting at reception should be given their keys promptly at 2:00 pm. It doesn't make sense to refuse an early check-in but then hand over the key 15 minutes after the advertised check-in time. Otherwise, the hotel should clearly state that check-in effectively starts at 2:15 pm rather than 2:00 pm.
