Lugar bonito com muita natureza. Um lugar perfeito para relaxar e descansar da pressão do seu dia a dia. Recomendo. Pessoal muito cordial e prestável, quartos limpos e confortáveis e um muito bom pequeno almoço.

Dissapointing for families with kids.
Pros:

The restaurant was lovely: good food, beautiful views and genuinely warm, friendly people. The restaurant staff were one of the best parts of our stay and made us feel very welcome.

Cons:

The Family Room we received looked significantly different from the photos shown on both Booking.com and Mantenga Lodge’s own website. When I complained, staff admitted that the published photos were a compilation of different rooms, meaning the room you actually receive may not resemble the one you believed you were booking.

The cot provided for our baby was broken and was only fixed the following day. The air conditioning was also broken and could not be repaired, despite it being an extremely hot day.

We were initially told nothing could be done because the hotel was fully booked. However, shortly afterwards another room somehow became available — but only if we paid an additional fee. I agreed because we had a baby and the original Family Room was very impractical. There was no door between the small bunk-bed room and the main living area, so putting the baby to sleep meant effectively switching off the lights and keeping the entire unit quiet.

What I find unacceptable is that the hotel acknowledged the problems, said there were no alternative rooms, and then suddenly found one once we agreed to pay extra. Given the misleading room presentation and the broken aircon, cot, I believe moving us should have been the hotel’s responsibility, at no additional cost.

There were also other examples of poor organisation. The hotel describes on their website the nearby Cultural Village as approximately a 15-minute walk, but in reality the route was around 3.5 km and certainly not a 15-minute walk.

The taxi arranged by the lodge for a fee three times higher than if i book a ride to Johannesburg airport was an old vehicle with no air conditioning on a very hot day and, more seriously, a non-working seatbelt. On the day we were leaving, the hotel then forgot to arrange the return taxi altogether.

Any hotel can have a maintenance issue. The real problem was how management handled everything: disrespectful towards us as guests.

Notre chambre donnait sur le parking et nous avons entendu la musique qui provenait de la rue toute la nuit. Mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel

Pros:

O lodge é muito bonito e bem enquadrado. O restaurante é fabuloso, parabéns ao chef!

Cons:

A receção poderia ter funcionários mais simpáticos. Nada de grave, mas destoou em relação à simpatia dos outros 3 alojamentos em que fiquei alojada no país.

A vista é maravilhosa

Cons:

O site só mostra um tipo de casas(com vista as montanhas e com varandas) mas no local tem outros muito basicos em que fomos colocados alegando que os com varanda estavam lotados, sendo que esperavamos estar nos quartos com varanda e nem se quer sabias que a istancia tivesse um outro tipo de acomodação

Pros:

Struttura pulita e ben curata immersa nel verde. Bello il ristorante dove servono un'ottima cena e colazione, con vista spettacolare sulle montagne e dove cenerete a lume di candela. Sorpresa inaspettata, ci siamo svegliati al mattino trovando la nostra vettura linda e pinta.
