A deposit via PayPal for nonrefundable plan is required to secure guest reservations. The property will contact the guests after booking on instructions about payment. Guests must make the payment via PayPal within the instructed date or guest reservations may be canceled.
Spa & Pool access is available at an additional charge, unless included in room charge. Please note that children 3 years old and below cannot enter the spa facilities including the open-air heated tub, hot springs bath and pool. Children 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Children 13 years and older may enter the fitness center.
We would like to announce that all the facilities in the pool area will be temporarily closed for regular maintenance.
The maintenance will be held on the following dates.

・From Monday, March 2, 2025 to Friday, March 6, 2025
The fitness gym, bathing area with “Onsen” bath and locker rooms can be used during the above periods.
The swimming pool, dry sauna, Jet bath and steam sauna will be closed.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.
An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.

An absolutely amazing gem tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. We always stay here whenever we come to Tokyo, and it never disappoints.
From the moment you arrive, you’re treated like a five-star guest. The staff speak excellent English and provide such genuine care and attention to every guest. The service really is exceptional.
We always choose a garden-view room because the view is simply breathtaking and makes the stay feel even more special.
There are plenty of great dining options on site, but sometimes, after a long day exploring Tokyo, the last thing we want to do is go out again. On those nights, we love simply relaxing in our room and ordering their AMAZING room service. It’s such a treat and the perfect way to end a busy day.
The location is also incredibly convenient. The JR line is just a short bus ride away, with the bus stop right outside the hotel, so getting around Tokyo is easy. There’s also a limousine bus service to Narita Airport, which makes arriving and departing incredibly convenient.
Beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, wonderful food and easy transport connections. It genuinely feels like our home away from home in Tokyo, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The Chinzanso hotel is like going back in time to the mid 20th century. The ornate design and traditional service was very enjoyable. An oasis in the middle of busy Tokyo, I would book this just for the gardens alone. As a party of 5 we had to book two rooms.
Highlights:
- Rooms were huge, lots of space
- We had a Japanese breakfast on arrival on the first day, set the tone for the trip brilliantly
- Gym is a good size
- The gardens, wow! Especially at night when they do the mist/fog show to music, absolutely stunning!
- Restaurants were varied and although expensive
- Service was top class throughout
Downsides:
- My biggest gripe was being charged to use the pool and onsen for each 24 hour period. This should be free for hotel guests, makes no sense to me
- Breakfast is a bit formal, you order and they bring it to your table, not the standard buffet style you might expect
- It is pricey, but you get what you pay for!
- Location was a bit of a struggle as the back gate was closed. It's a 10 minute walk to the nearest station (tough in the heat) or cabs to get to most places. Nearest shop (7-Eleven) was a good 10-15 minute walk up/down some steep steps
We loved absolutely everything about our stay at this hotel. Before we even booked our room, their concierge was already helping me decorate the room for our honeymoon. Staff are extremely patient, polite and pay so much attention to detail. Room service staff are so nice and do an amazing job.
The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention the really beautiful garden that has a surprise display every hour. It’s conveniently located near the most popular districts and easily reached by public transport or Uber/taxi.
All in all, a must-try experience. Can't wait to stay here again.
庭はここと比肩できるのはニューオータニくらい、むしろオータニよりも上。ホテル内装も今では古臭いかもしれないが、メンテナンスがいいため、今では貴重なクラシックタイプ（ややリーガロイヤル似ているが）。外資系にはできないホテル内を歩けるという点がよい。朝食で使っている食材のクオリティはまずます(オレンジもフレッシュスクイーズ)。ホテル内は静かである。
まず、部屋のカーテンから光が漏れる、明るい。ホテルでは致命的でちゃんと修正すべき。宿泊者の年齢層はやや高めだからか、朝食の量が少なすぎる、卵料理のお替り、肉類お替り、果物盛り合わせくらいないと、あの料金で１プレートの料理としては寂しすぎる。ホテルアメニティのクオリティも劣化傾向。髭剃りはあのクオリティのものでは剃れない。歯ブラシの歯磨き粉もビジネスホテルの量レベル、１回しか歯を磨かないという想定はおかしい。
This hotel is perfection. Our suite overlooked the gardens which are spectacular, especially when the sea of clouds appears several times during the day. We were blown away by the staff who were discreet, highly professional, and incredibly polite and helpful. The hotel itself is like a gallery inside. We didn’t have the time to try out all the facilities but they looked spectacular. The housekeeping is exceptional, which is sometimes not the case, even in exclusive hotels. This hotel is an oasis of calm in the middle of Tokyo. We hope to return.
