Important information:


A deposit via PayPal for nonrefundable plan is required to secure guest reservations. The property will contact the guests after booking on instructions about payment. Guests must make the payment via PayPal within the instructed date or guest reservations may be canceled.


Spa & Pool access is available at an additional charge, unless included in room charge. Please note that children 3 years old and below cannot enter the spa facilities including the open-air heated tub, hot springs bath and pool. Children 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Children 13 years and older may enter the fitness center.


We would like to announce that all the facilities in the pool area will be temporarily closed for regular maintenance.
The maintenance will be held on the following dates.
・From Monday, September 29, 2025 to Friday, October 3, 2025
・From Monday, March 2, 2025 to Friday, March 6, 2025
The fitness gym, bathing area with “Onsen” bath and locker rooms can be used during the above periods.
The swimming pool, dry sauna, Jet bath and steam sauna will be closed.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.
An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property.

We enjoyed luxurious comfort in Chinzanso, such an elegant hotel, with superb dining and Japanese history everywhere.
Pros:

Our room was beautiful. Chinzanso's hot spring spa was so relaxing. Many wonderful, delicious restaurants. Very polite hotel and restaurant staff helped our stay feel so welcome. The Japanese garden, the history and beautiful art added wondrous meaning to our experience. We will plan to return of course!

• The view was exceptional. I could see both Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree, as well as a beautiful panorama of the city.
• The room was very spacious and comfortable.
• The bathroom was large and well designed.
• The service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, professional, and made the stay very enjoyable.

Cons:

• The hotel feels somewhat dated and not particularly modern.
• The interior design and furnishings are slightly old fashioned and could benefit from a refresh.

Great hotel for our last weekend inTokyo.
Pros:

This is a great hotel with a stunning garden. Our room on the 9th floor was perfect for viewing the garden and sea of cloud. We had a memorable meal in Mokushundo restaurant. We found the staff, especially reception, exceptionally helpful.

Cons:

I never found the bar!

Awesome!
Pros:

Everything went well, enjoyed Japanese breakfast, the amazing Zen garden, lunches and teas mid morning and at lunch time. Overall was a great experience. Not forgetting the beautiful pyjamas for the hotel guests.

Cons:

Breakfast service is a bit slow especially when there are big groups staying at the hotel.

A wonderful experience. Our only regret is not booking more nights to explore more of the facilities and garden.
Pros:

The Chinzan-so garden is exceptional, absolutely worth experiencing. Photos don’t do it justice. The staff are professional and very helpful at every turn. Facilities are top notch.
