The hotel provides the basic essentials you need for a stay. The internet worked well, electricity was available, and the room had the necessary basic facilities.
Unfortunately, my arrival was extremely stressful. I travelled to Kyiv for a close friend’s wedding via Chișinău, after a journey of more than 24 hours, and arrived very late at night. That night, streets around the hotel were closed following a drone attack near the SBU building behind the property. My taxi could not reach the hotel and had to leave me at the square, so I had to walk with my luggage after curfew.
The hotel entrance is extremely difficult to find, especially at night. There is no clear sign showing where to enter; you have to find and climb a staircase without any proper indication that it leads to the hotel. This is important information for future guests.
I called reception several times simply asking where the entrance was, first trying with my limited Ukrainian and then in English. Instead of helping, the receptionist repeatedly hung up on me. Even my Ukrainian friend tried to contact the hotel. Eventually, I had to find the entrance myself.
I fully understand and deeply respect the extraordinarily difficult circumstances in Ukraine. Foreign visitors travelling there today accept significant difficulties and security risks because they care about the country and the people they are visiting. This made the receptionist’s attitude even more disappointing. A guest alone at night, after curfew, during a security incident, should not have the phone hung up on them. I genuinely did not feel safe or supported.
Finally, I also noticed small insects on the carpet in the room.
The hotel urgently needs clearer entrance signage, better arrival instructions and a more helpful attitude from reception, particularly for late-night arrivals.
Свіжий сучасний ремонт та інтерʼєр, чистота, ввічливий персонал. Але чи не найважливіше для мене - тихо. Тут мінімальний шум вулиць, транспорту через вдале розташування.
Невеликі незручності з пропускним режимом для авто, але це тільки до однієї стоянки, інша функціонує у звичайному режимі.

Розташування готелю, запропонували номер поряд з бомбосховищем
Пізно ввечері попросили води, проте на весь готель не знайшлось ні бутилки води, ні куллера, а до ресторану не було доступу. Крамниці вже були зачинені. Добре що сусідній готель без проблем дав дві бутилочки води. Дуже дивно що в номері є чайник, проте в готелі немає води :)
