Even my friend says the standard has dropped and sadly not my choice again.
Pros:

The location is quite a short distance to the market and near the main road.
Maybe have to go a distance to look for food and other places of interest.
The lobby cleanliness is good with sofa.
This is my first time staying at the hotel recommended by my friend who stayed at the
hotel a year ago.

Cons:

Since my friend recommended the hotel so I booked it through booking .com.
But it is not up to our expectation when we check in to our room.
The double room that I check in is very dimmed and it has a kind of eerie feeling. The table lamp is at the
both side of the bed head. Carpet is dark color making the room darker. The dressing table above has a wall light and a stand lamp with two chairs near the balcony.
The toilet wash basin and shower area glass does not wash when make-up room every day. Not even wash once since I check in from day 1. Toilet paper roll just above the toilet bowl beside your body when you sit on it. Too near but having problem getting the paper. The room lighting has to brighten up and room color combination needs to redesign it.

Pros:

Very good location in Hatyai, walking distance to Lee garden and kim yong market. And the staff was very good and friendly. Even I get early check in because I reach earlier than check in time.

Cons:

WiFi signal very poor, no toothbrush and toothpaste was provided.

Dated but comfortable
Pros:

The hotel is large and a very dated but clean and comfortable. We booked a balcony but had to carry out the big heavy chairs outside so we could enjoy it. A small table and chairs out there would have been useful. They seem to be upgrading areas like the reception which is lovely and modern so hopefully in time they will do the rest. We booked this hotel because someone on TripAdvisor had said the breakfast buffet was the best they’d had in Thailand but unfortunately tourism had dropped off when we arrived and we were just offered a set menu from the a la carte menu which comprised of a drink, toast with butter and jam, fresh fruit and a main. Which was perfectly adequate but no cereals and only 2 fruits (watermelon and one other). It was way too much for us and we wasted so much which I hate doing. Even when I asked for a small portion it was still too much. As I said it was adequate but a buffet would had had a lot more choice. Can’t be helped I guess if you don’t have the guests. The shower was hot and good. The bedding clean. Staff were attentive and polite.
