duplicate parking charge
Pros:

I recently stayed at Hyatt Place Los Angeles/LAX/El Segundo and initially experienced a frustrating billing issue involving a duplicate parking charge.

Before my stay, I prepaid ($34) for three days of parking through ParkRoll and presented my receipt at check-in. The front desk staff member confirmed that the reservation would be honored. However, after my stay, I discovered that I had also been charged an additional $111 ($37 per day) for the same parking period.

I attempted to resolve the issue by contacting the hotel multiple times by email and providing receipt of the prepaid parking and phone but received no response. I also contacted Hyatt customer service, but they were unable to assist with a hotel billing matter.

After reaching out directly to the General Manager, the hotel finally refunded the duplicate $111 charge. The process took several weeks and required multiple follow-ups before receiving a response.

Not what I expected
Pros:

Ac wasn't working and we checked in late had to wait till next day. Parking at 37 for each car for each night was way to high and seeing cars in the parking area with no tag was upsetting. Breakfast was average. Location was convent and staff friendly.

Pros:

I had a wonderful check in with Uila,tema,adi I came in so cranky, and they just made it so smooth make me feel like it was my home that I was coming into so patient so wonderful. They explained all the amenities and even help me with my bags with the help of.Adan as small as he is, I couldn’t believe how he carried my bags to the third floor he is such a wonderful man thank you thank you thank you I love the place. I love it all the room so beautiful breakfast. Wonderful. I will be coming here all the time.

Perfect location as we just needed somewhere to freshen up before heading to LAX.
Pros:

It was close to the airport and had an airport shuttle.

Cons:

The staff member on the desk wasn't super hospitable, we checked in and informed her we were only staying for a few hours to freshen up then heading to the airport. We went to check out and she had no recollection of who we were.

Great hotel for families!
Pros:

The best hotel when traveling with family. Such an amazing experience here.! The customer service from each and every staff member we encountered; from the front desk, the ladies at the breakfast arena, the housekeeping staff, the men cleaning the pool area, and the shuttle drivers all GREAT!! The hotel was very clean all around. Our room was very very spacious , we had 2 beds with the sofa and the restroom is big too! The tv is a big screen with cable channels and we could connect our phones to watch on the tv. The hotel is dog friendly, they have a designated green area for dogs that’s well kept and maintained. The complimentary breakfast is sooo good! That was a big plus for us! The pool and jacuzzi were clean and stocked with towels. The gym area is nice too. The free shuttle to and from the airport was great to have as as well. The only thing that I wish was different is the $37 over night parking fee. But overall great experience will definitely book here again!
