Pros:

Staff was nice and very walkable location.

Cons:

Other reviews say the rooms are dated and need renovation, but they really need a deep clean with bleach. The room felt filthy and the bathroom smelled like sewage backup.

Lovely staff
Pros:

The staff solution to the issues below was to give me an upgrade to a lovely bigger room that was simply perfect, clean and cockroach-free. After the first night, I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was located in a nice area, walking distance from everything (if you want to walk). There is a lovely waiting area in front of reception where you can sit and wait for the free transfer back to airport. Everyone was lovely.

Cons:

The first room had a big cockroach wandering around, and plenty of small ones that climbed into my clothes and were a bit hard to get rid of. After the first day, electricity in our room was cut off.

Pros:

L’hôtel est parfaitement situé, proche du centre ville à pied de Brunei. Pratique pour un court séjour de visite du pays. Le rapport qualité prix également est très bon.

Cons:

Les équipements des chambres mériteraient d’être améliorés et modernisés.

Walkable distance to major destinations. Free airport shuttle (during certain hours). Reception was nice. Free water bottles in room.

Cons:

The airport shuttle was late picking us up. Our flight arrived outside of the complementary shuttle hours, which we were aware of. I specifically asked ahead of time if we could pay with card, and they said yes. While waiting for the driver I withdrew money from an ATM for the next days activities. Driver shows up late, and then says we have to pay in cash. So I had to make another withdrawal, incurring another withdrawal fee.

Budget-friendly stay.
Pros:

- Free airport transportation
- Great location, within walking distance to some of the major attractions and the waterfront
- Clean and comfy beds
- Okay but budget friendly food

Cons:

It's an old, business hotel. It has clearly run past its heyday. But with the price and location, I really can't complain.

Group friendly apartment close to city center
Pros:

We stayed one night because it was close to our run event the apartment style room was spacious and practical, with 4 single s beds, a large living room, and a kitchen equipped with a stove,oven ,fridge and water heater jug. It was convenient for a short stay. The only downside was that there was no phone in the room, so any request has to be made directly at the reception counter in the lobby.while the facilities are a bit dates,everything was clean and functional. Overall, its a good option for groups or travelers who value space and location over modern design. The staff is okay and helpful too.

Great location and friendly helpful staff
Pros:

This is a very central location to most tourist attractions in BSB and super easy to find. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has daily room service. We were welcomed warmly by the friendly receptionist who kindly helped us orientate to BSB and get the most out of our time here. Our room was spacious with a huge window and view. Very pleased with everything here. We highly recommend this hotel as an affordable, hospitable, comfortable option.

Good location, incredibly dirty and uncaring staff.

Location is good.

Cons:

Hotel is clearly outdated and needs some desperate maintenance work. The room looked as if it had been empty for a year. The bed was dirty and dusty, hairs on the bathroom floor, toilet was leaking, and generally just dirt and dust everywhere. Staff didn't even acknowledge you when walking through the door.
