The location was very good 5 to 10 min walk from the town.
The owner was very nice and knew everything about the local area.
We were welcomed straight away by the lovely hosts. The pool was an absolute bonus and poolside seats to just lounge and relax, with a lovely selection of food and drinks to choose from too. Our apartment was just what we needed for a couple of nights. Really easy to get a bus into town/sea front too, or a 20 mins walk.
Pool was lovely, huge hit with our 7 year old.

The apartment was clean.
We were very disappointed with our stay. On arrival, we discovered that the apartment we had specifically booked was being used by someone else, and we were given a different apartment instead.
We had deliberately chosen and booked the specific accommodation to suit the ages and individual needs of the people in our group. The apartment we booked had 2 single beds, 1 double bed, a sofa bed and 2 separate bathrooms, including one with a shower. These arrangements were important to us when deciding which accommodation to book due to the differing ages and health issues of the individuals.
Instead, the apartment we were given had 2 double beds, a sofa bed, one bathroom accessed through one of the bedrooms and a tiny separate toilet through the other bedroom. There were also no free toiletries as advertised. This wasn't simply a case of being given a slightly different room — the layout and sleeping and bathroom arrangements were significantly different from what we had specifically chosen and paid for.
We appreciate that problems can sometimes happen, but what was particularly disappointing was the lack of apology or understanding from the hosts. We were made to feel as though the situation was somehow our fault, despite having booked and paid for specific accommodation.
The replacement apartment may have been acceptable if that was what we had originally booked, but it wasn't suitable for the needs of our group and wasn't what we had paid for. Overall, we were very disappointed with the experience and would not recommend this property based on our stay.

Our stay was made very memorable by Ian's warm welcome and amazing cooked breakfasts. The kids loved the pool.

We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The heated pool was a real highlight—it felt like we were on holiday abroad! Being able to buy drinks by the pool at very reasonable prices was an added bonus.
The location was excellent, with both the beach and the town centre just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the local area.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. We would 100% recommend it and will definitely be returning in the future!

We loved Ian! He was so friendly and accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble and he made us feel so welcome. Also loved the pool!
Only thing was that the room was unbelievably hot, but Ian provided a fan and there’s not much else he could have done without installing air con!!
Staff were amazing - really lovely people who take customer service the extra mile. Nice to have the outdoor pool & hot tub facility. Rooms clean & tidy, smart TV Netflix etc. good stay.
Unfortunately, nothing. The property did not meet the expectations created by the advertisement, and the entire experience was disappointing from start to finish.
The property was advertised in a misleading way. I booked expecting to use the hot tub, only to be told on arrival that I had to pay an additional fee which was not clearly disclosed when I made the booking. After I complained, the listing was changed.
The host was rude, dismissive and completely unwilling to resolve the issue. Rather than helping, she made the situation even more stressful and ruined my holiday.
The property itself did not meet the expectations created by the listing, the location was poor, and it was extremely poor value for money. The experience became so unacceptable that I felt I had no choice but to leave two days early and pay for another hotel so that I could continue my holiday elsewhere.
As a result, I lost over £300, and Booking.com only processed a £49 refund from the hotel. I have now been forced to pursue the remaining money through a PayPal dispute because neither the host nor Booking.com provided a satisfactory resolution.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to be extremely cautious and to take screenshots of the listing before booking. Based on my experience, I would never stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone.
