Great location just needs a little love and attention.
Pros:

We love the location. Easy walk to Cuba st, waterfront, station etc. A
lso loved the harbour view. Very friendly staff. Breakfast (off site) was very good.

Cons:

Very basic kitchen. Minimal utensils . Need a sharp knife (or something to open sachets), salt and pepper and a bin.
Small bathroom and bedroom need some storage or shelving or hooks. There were 2 of us and only one chair??
TV had good channels but too high up on the wall.

comfortable stay pleasant staff
Pros:

bed was comfortable nice to have chairs and table shower was good pressure

Cons:

carpet was marked . Vent to outside in bathroom a little cold. No clock could do with desk lamp lights too bright or too dark

Basic hotel in handy location
Pros:

Handy central location. Friendly staff.

Cons:

The actual rooms felt old and dated even though some of the decor has been modernised. The hallways felt particularly sterile (with an old switch with exposed wires the first thing seen when stepping out of lift). Plug in heaters and no heat-pump aircon.
Wifi worked fast in lobby however almost impossible in the actual room.

Pros:

Central in Wellington

Cons:

Not super clean and interiors need updating. Massive draft from underneath the door and windows that made it cold even when the heater was on. We were on 16th floor next to elevator shaft, it’s needs noise better control.

The images on booking.com were not a true reflection of the quality of units that we had.

We occupied two seperate apartments and both were very old and outdated, with doors that did not lock and kitchen/kitchenette’s that were far from functional.

Affordable - yes

The place needs a good lick of paint to freshen it up & modernise. Replace the couches & dust ALL the surfaces.
Pros:

The location was great, nice & handy to all directions around the city.

Cons:

The room is tiny, lucky I am a solo traveller. The shower especially is minuscule & I’m not a big person, sad water pressure too. The tv is very high on the wall & the couch is very low, not comfortable viewing. Better pillows & perhaps mattress toppers.

Came for the rugby which was great. Had a lovely short break. Thanks
Pros:

Loved location. Breakfast was great although the walk there was a little challenging. Maybe should be made aware of this at time of booking.

Cons:

Carpets in room 403 not very nice. Couch was uncomfortable. Shower is a little scary for the elderly. Some cutlery would be good. No information in the room re heater operation, tv operation or about local eateries and things to see and do.
