If I had to choose a 25th birthday destination I’d go here again!
Pros:

The overall experience was absolutely amazing. The staff was exceptional and always ready to assist. The food at Namaste Restaurant was to die for! We ended having our dinner there for 2 out of 3 nights we were there. The variety at breakfast was absolutely amazing as it caters for whatever diet one could possibly be on. The snacks in between the meals was was a great bonus as one can get a bit peckish during the day or between water activities. The staff really goes above and beyond hey🥹We even went to try out local cuisine with some of the friendly guys that work there and made friends with them. I would visit Paradise again! They really made my birthday trip special.

Cons:

Nothing. It was a perfect experience!

Fantastic
Pros:

Our stay at Paradise Beach Hotel was wonderful. The rooms and the resort are very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is good. Gawie, in particular, made our stay especially enjoyable. We felt completely taken care of and were able to fully relax and enjoy the fantastic excursions.

Pros:

Rooms: We "downgraded" from the suites to the standard rooms in front of the pool, they were so much nicer, modern and very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend these rooms for families with small children., but otherwise they were the best.

Food & Drinks: Overall, The food was really good, though some things may not be to your taste, they had a wide variety to choose from in which you will always find something in their buffet offerring to enjoy. One thing they had the best of at every meal, was the rice. Their mocktails were really good, having the All-Inclusive package was the best

Facilities: the gardens & landscaping was beautifully manicured and maintained and the resort activities were such fun

Cons:

Rooms: The only issue is that they were the furthest from the food hall, drinks bars and reception, so it is a bit of a walk to get around from there.
The 2 suite rooms we initially booked had water pressure/supply and drainage issues, somehow I didn't like the smell of the bed sheets

Location: The resort is on the East coast of the island, which was close to 1 hour drive from the airport, Stone Town and other major attractions outside the resort.

Zanzibar Tourism Tax on guests staying at 4 & 5 Star accommodations: We didn't know about this we were made to pay before j they can check us in.

Relax in Zanzibar

Outstanding Stay at Zanzibar Bay Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Zanzibar Bay Resort and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our visit.

A special thank you to Gawie, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to assist with anything we needed truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our experience.

The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Zanzibar.

The food was consistently good, with a great variety of options and delicious meals throughout our stay. The staff were always welcoming and attentive, making every dining experience pleasant.

Overall, Zanzibar Bay Resort exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and great food. We look forward to returning in the future!

Pros:

Bel espace avec 3 piscines et la jettée.
Bonne bouffe.
Le personnel est très serviable et sympathique.
Bon pour se reposer

Cons:

Les draps et les taies d'oreillers n'ont pas été changés avant notre arrivée, et même suite à notre demande rien n'a été changé. On peut sentir de loin l'odeur de transpiration des clients précédents.
Les toilettes ne disposent pas de douchette.

Pros:

La structure est vraiment a la hauteur des attentes. On peut passer 8 jours sans quitter l'hôtel si l'on veut. Le personnel est super top. souriant, reactif attentionné. Buffet varié et très bon. Le bar sympa et les animations aussi.

Cons:

Un peu isolé loin des infrastructures de l’île. Rien autour de l'établissement. Il faut sans remettre aux taxi ou au service de l'hôtel qui sont nombreux, mais qui peuvent vite faire monter la facture.

It was a cultural shock to visit. People and staff was lovely just a different way of life for sure

Cons:

My mum got cholera 2 days into the stay she was very poorly the hospital on site was refusing to take both travel insurances we had for our stay and was insisting on cash. Couldn’t really leave the complex as wasn’t very safe. About 2 hours away from any decent beach. Food was ok. Not for my pallet but lots of choice. We upgraded our rooms to a villa wasn’t really worth the money. I wouldn’t be coming back. Any popular drink you would normally order is charged as an extra- even though we was all inclusive didn’t even stay 5 days - we left as soon as possible we was booked in for 2 weeks

Pros:

Anlage war sehr schön. Etwas veraltet aber man hat sich dadurch nicht schlechter gefühlt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Es wurde täglich geputzt, Moskitonetz wurde geöffnet und abends wurde es wieder geschlossen und gesprüht. Wir hatten nichts an Mücken oder sonstiges im Zimmer. TOP

Cons:

Die Lage war sehr abseits. Aber dafür kein Abzug.
