Excellent location, especially if you're planning to explore both Amsterdam and the surrounding areas of the Netherlands by car.
We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. Having everything we needed to cook and eat in the apartment, whether before heading out for the day or after returning, made travelling with two toddlers considerably easier.
Housekeeping was also good, with fresh towels, beds made, and rubbish collected every couple of days. Dishwasher tablets were provided, and we also had everything we needed to wash dishes by hand. Generally the hotel itself looked very clean and well maintained.
The hotel is just a short walk from a major train hub, making it very easy to get into central Amsterdam without a car. There are also several supermarkets within walking distance, as well as a few restaurants that we didn't get around to trying.
Parking was extremely convenient, which was a major plus for us given how much we travelled by car.
Finally, the staff were consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, an excellent base for a family holiday, particularly if you're combining sightseeing in Amsterdam with day trips around the Netherlands.
Most of these are minor nitpicks rather than serious complaints, but they're what kept an otherwise excellent stay from being a perfect 10/10.
The biggest issue was the laundry. There's no washing machine in the apartment, only a limited number of shared machines downstairs. You can't control the detergent amount or check whether it needs refilling. Also, the machines could have been better maintained, I found slimy buildup inside the rubber door seals, and our laundry came out smelling off. The dryers had short fixed-length cycles, although reception kindly provided extra tokens free of charge upon request.
A few smaller issues:
1. Oddly placed switches and sockets: The bedside light switch was positioned unusually high, right in the middle above the headboard, and controlled both bedside lights together. Power sockets were partially obscured by the bed, and we actually had to remove a nightstand and reposition the bed to access both outlets at once.
2. Unintuitive AC controls: one vaguely marked dial controls the entire apartment, with no clear temperature settings.
3. No shower shelf for personal toiletries.
4. Slippery shower floor, with no non-slip mat provided.
5. No step stool for toddlers to reach the bathroom sink, unlike some other family-friendly hotels.
6. TV in the living room only; one in the bedroom would have been nice.
Again, these are small inconveniences, not reasons to avoid the hotel. If you're looking for a clean, well kept, well-located place to stay, I'd still wholeheartedly recommend it.

Very easy to get into centre by train even though there were roadworks which wasn’t anything to do with the hotel. Staff were excellent, very pleasant and extremely helpful. Apartment well equipped and roomy, beds comfortable. Only one small thing missing was a hook in the bathroom which would have been helpful. A great stay and very quiet around the hotel. Only 10 minutes from airport to the hotel and 5 minutes into centre of Amsterdam. Supermarket a few minutes walk away

Die Lage. In 5min ist man am Bahnhof und dann eine Station bis ins Zentrum.
Freundliches Personal. Wir hatten unsere 3 Zimmer nebeneinander wie gewünscht.
Wir hatten 3 Zimmer gebucht. Die Beschreibung war gleich was die Azsstattung betrifft. Allerdings hatte ein Zimmer nur eine Mikrowelle, eins einen Ofen und das dritte Ofen und Geschirrspüler.

Convenient location close to Sloterdijk metro and train station. Spar and Jumbo supermarkets make self-catering viable especially for breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.
Short term disruption caused by roadworks means a temporary detour to metro and supermarkets, but that work should be completed by Dec 2026
