It was only for the one night so was ok I would choose it again
Pros:

The staff throughout the hotel were so nice and friendly. The carvery lunch was beautiful. Beds were comfy and pillows too.

Cons:

The rooms really need updating, paint chipped off walls, stains on curtains and carpets. Wooden decor needing a repaint. Bathroom was renovated and nice but the side on the bath looked like a quick piece of something screwed onto it. Two Empty coffee sachets in the room🫣 . Dust on lamp shades. Sockets broken and none beside bed. The carpet in lift is filthy. Breakfast was cold and not a great selection I wouldn’t pay extra to have breakfast I would go to the town for decent food. Better signage on first floor to lift and stairs.

As a hotel very well staffed and professional service,
Pros:

Very polite staff, very clean and comfortable room and bed. Bar and evening food good and reasonably priced.

Cons:

Tv stations poor and Netflix and prime are only available bly login in to your own account or subscribe
Also no information that breakfast finished 10am sharp and this was not displayed in room either nor information give at reception, full payment taken on arrival and not information of breakfast. Also bank holiday weekend no entertainment?

Comfortable and pleasant
Pros:

Breakfast was perfect, room was comfortable and staff were very pleasant.

Cons:

I arrived just after 8pm and waited at reception for at least 15 minutes before I called into the bar to see if someone could book me in. Food service had stopped so I had to leave again to get something to eat. No lotion or conditioner in the bathroom
