AC is a requisite for any room in Miami in 2026 this clearly wasn’t the case with the superior room I paid the extra for after having read the reviews on here prior. having the window open to cool the room led to heavy traffic noise. Neither was there a balcony which is stated on the questions that all superior rooms have balconies. There is no access to being able to make coffee and the water hotel offers in lobby isn’t filtered. The rooms can hear adjacent doors shutting. The worst part was the night receptionist some religious guy on arrival who was extremely rude for no reason was very insulting towards me in tone and directions and could not ask him questions relating to the ac and gave me misleading information about parking in which I accidentally parked overnight in the 15 min loading bay because I didn’t pay the absurd $ 30 fee to park on hotels own premises when the street parking costs $1ph outside the door. Tells me he works there 5years I look on google reviews and it says same about poor attitude but the day receptionists were fine

Parking was Amal and had to pay extra to park in the hotel’s parking lot

The room was dirty, no ac inside of the rooms(hot) roaches. No towels. Front desk rude in the morning

To start, the staff are ignorant and uneducated about matters related to their jobs. I was initially denied accommodations because I was traveling with a service dog, whom is always with me because he’s necessary on the basis of my disability. After explaining that I’ve stayed there plenty of times, involving a supervisor, and—contrary to state and federal law—providing my personal, protected health information and documentation, I was allowed to stay. However, the overnight staff continued to harass me, cursed at me while explaining that they were tired to cleaning dog droppings and dealing with loud, violent animals, and threatened me.

Circling back around to the chicken process, the front desk representative could not ascertain that their credit card system had been down. He insisted that I had not paid despite him see my bank account information and literally holding my phone himself to scroll through Booking.com and view my reservation. He made me call Booking.com because it was “my problem, not his,” and only then call the supervisor, who permitted me to stay. Of note, the keys he set-up did not work and I had to return multiple times from the third floor to get one working card for my guest and I to share.

The water coming out of the sink and shower was brown at first and took over a half hour to start getting warm every time we used the restroom. We were not given complementary toiletries, like all the other rooms had in the past. To make things worse, this room was so dusty and dirty that the person in my life, my sinuses were set off and now almost a week later I’m still experiencing rhinorrhea.
