Pros:

an excellent location in an area with lots of bars and restaurants within a short stroll.
Great pool area with great service and food.
The staff were attentive and friendly. I would recommend staying here.

It was a beautiful hotel on the surface but no charm, no hospitality and overpriced for what it offers.
Pros:

The lobby area was stunning.
The rooms - twin share ocean view had a magnificent terrace that was very comfortable and large. The location was good

Cons:

The rooms were on first glance stunning but on closer inspection were shabby and not very clean. The shower was mouldy. The basin was not cleaned during our stay. The toiletries were of poor quality and limited. The blind was broken - they came and fixed it but it then had to stay up. The shutters were also in dire need of maintenance one side couldn’t be opened. There is no coffee machine. There was a bodum style coffee maker but only Nescafé instant sachet coffee. Cheap tea. I expected better from a 5 star resort. The pool was stunning keeping with the minimalist vibe. Not many sunbeds. Very limited poolside service - only 4 cocktails on offer. Menu ok. The private beach lounges had no shade, no umbrellas, were very old and shabby. There was no service down there.
The gardens were minimalist.
Had buffet breakfast only once. My daughter is coeliac and even though advised in advance and at the time they did not advise what was available and there was nothing marked as gluten free.
The staff were polite but nut friendly. There was none of the Balinese famous hospitality.
It was my birthday whilst I was there - they did do a lively message on the bed and put a small cake in the fridge - on check in day and in the day. That was lovely however but a single staff member says happy birthday. I wasn’t expecting it however at other resorts, especially 5 star ones, every staff member would say something
It was an elegant resort but in sure need of some decent housekeeping and some staff training. Would I stay again? No. There are much better choices in Bali and Sanur in the same price bracket

Ein erholsamer, unkomplizierter Aufenthalt in angenehmer Atmosphäre.
Pros:

Eine wunderschöne Hotelanlage in ausgezeichneter Lage als Ausgangspunkt für Tauchen und kulturelle Ausflüge, sehr sauber und sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Essen in guter Qualität ist entweder in den beiden Hotelrestaurants oder auch in Lokalen an der Strandpromenade erhältlich. Der Spa Bereich ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Cons:

Eigentlich war für uns alles perfekt.

Disappointing beach.
Pros:

The beach was disappointing, as there were too many boats , the water recedes a lot leaving behind rubbish on the beach.
I had a change of circumstances and needed to shorten my stay giving 3 days notice but they insisted to charge me a night penalty. I had a full video to show the state of the beach but this website only allows photos.

Rats! Living in 5star?
Pros:

Location,friendly staff and nice rooms

Cons:

Unfortunately we were let down. Day 1 we had a burst hose and our room was flooded. Staff were great and we got moved to a new room and a dinner for the inconvinence.
The new room however had rats that came out night 3 nights in a row. We could hear and see them running along the floor and going thru the bin and trying to get a bag of nuts on the counter. The hotel tried to get rid of them but weren't succesfull. Was hard to sleep and not feel dissapointed at the end of the week. Never have we had this issue before anywhere and will never book a stay again.

Pros:

Fina och rena rum. Fantastisk säng, som att sova på ett moln. Rummet var perfekt svalt. Personalen alltid hjälpsam och trevlig. Bra pool! Frukosten var på topp!

فندق راقي مطل على البحر
Pros:

الغرفة كانت واسعة وجميلة، السرير مريح جدا، المسبح كان رائع، والبحر كان اكثر روعة. المطعم على الشاطئ كان جميل، كتوفر كراسي تحت الاشجار الاستوائية الجميلة على البحر، متوفر تأجير جيت سكي وقوارب، خدمة الغرف كانت سريعة وجيدة.

الاسعار غالية بعض الشئ.

Nice holiday break
Pros:

Nice big resort. Pool a bit disappointing as the ‘infinity’ view is of ugly rooftops and trees blocking any view of the ocean. Breakfast is typical of a large chain hotel. Room is nice and at perfect temperature. Staff are extremely helpful and polite. Being on the beach boardwalk is a big plus as there is lots to see and do.

2 years since our stay and its as bad as ever!
Pros:

We actually stayed here in July 2024, but date calendar drop down menu does not go that far back. It seems like many of the issues we experienced on our stay are still present, and getting worse. Dilapidated buildings, leaks, sewage smells, dirty and just generally tired. A disgrace to the Intercontinental brand. If you do not want to ruin your holiday, do not stay here. I can’t believe after 2 years since our stay its still so bad, and very expensive.

Don’t bother
Pros:

My sister booked the hotel using her IHG loyalty card.
I got to the hotel and instead of being politely told that I could not use the benefits of the loyalty program I was made to feel terrible like I had committed a crime. In front of me he let someone know to move the gift basket welcome gift to a smaller room. I was told I would still get breakfast as it was included in the reservation.
The room amenities were not great in the bathroom - I was expecting Byredo products but I had no name filled bottles labelled shampoo etc. in the bathroom. The bath was lovely but there were no bath salts.
Breakfast was amazing.
The beach unfortunately was filled with rubbish and boats were in the way of getting into the water.
I would actually recommend that you pay £100 less and stay at a Hilton - and if you have a family member with status than you can use those extras without any hassle.
I was told when I checked out that my sister would get the points accumulated by the stay on her account which has not happened.
