Pros:

Very central convenient location within Ljubljana pedestrian touristic zone. Helpful reception staff.

Cons:

- Really overpriced for what you get - low value for money. I would say this is not a 3-star hotel for sure.
- Very uncomfortable pillow and quite used bed linen.
- Outdated old building (only rooms were somehow renovated, but visibly really low cost).
- No elevators - get ready to carry your bags up and down the stairs.
- No sound proofing at all - you hear every step, conversations, children running, etc. Like in a student dormitory.
- Very uncomfortable bathtoom. Shower and toilet built in a tiny box in the corner of the room. Mine had broken light too (but since I stayed just 1 night, I didn't bother to complain, so I don't know if they would have fixed it).
- Terrible shower gel of chemical orange colour. No shampoo, conditioner, etc.
- Really early check out (by 10:00 a.m.).
- No breakfast. No coffee/tea in rooms.

Pros:

Wir waren nur eine Nacht, aber Zimmer und Betten super. Tolle Lage! Parken hat im nahegelegenen Parkhaus perfekt geklappt. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Hotelpersonal.

Günstig gelegenes angenehmes Hotel für eine Erkundung von Ljubljana
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotel Emonec ist sehr zentral, keine 5 Fußminuten von der Touristeninformation an den Drei Brücken (am Fluss Ljubljanica) entfernt, abgeschirmt in einem Hinterhof. Viele Cafes, Bars und Restaurants an den Uferpromenaden in der Nähe. Zimmer und Bad sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet, die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert. Das von uns mitgewählte Frühstück für 5 EUR (Buffet) war für den Preis voll ok, freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Vorab bekamen wir zum Parken unseres Autos Informationen zu einer ca 600 m entfernten Parkgarage, ein halbwegs günstiges Parken für 12 EUR / Tag.

Cons:

Es hat alles gepasst.

Pros:

Die Lage bei den Drei Brücken ist unschlagbar. Zwar ist das Partner-Parkhaus etwas weiter weg,, aber die Abwicklung mit Reservierung umd Bezahlung im Hotel hätte nicht besser sein können! Sehr zu empfehlen.
Das Zimmer hätte eine Klimaanlage gehabt, das Bett war sehr bequem, und das einfache Frühstücksbuffet war für uns praktisch. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und hat uns problemlos ganz kurzfristig Parkhaus und Frühstück dazu gebucht.

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage hat abends plötzlich nicht mehr funktioniert, bei Temperaturen von 36°C war das bitter! An der Rezeption sass abends nur ein Security-Mitarbeiter der sich nicht auskannte. Ein kaltes Wasser aus dem Kühlschrank hätte etwas geholfen, aber um 22 Uhr war dieser schon abgeschlossen (nur verfügbar, wenn Hotelpersonal anwesend).
Da hatten wir Pech. Würden das Emonec trotzdem jederzeit wieder buchen.
